had an issue with a Benchmark product but the retailer would not stand behind their product-instead I had to call the manufacturer and wait for a part to repair a defective part on my item. I was also treated poorly by the clerk-although he was just a clerk so I thought it wasn't worth my time to press the issue-in any event I'd never shop here again-I wanted to go to Home Depot but my wife suggested I shop local--what a mistake-it's Home Depot from now on-I've never had an issue there and they always stand behind their products

This is the best Home Depot I’ve been to. Selection is better than many, and staff are more helpful. The online inventory matches the actual inventory really well. After-sales service, especially for returns and exchanges is outstanding. Their pick up service during COVID was exceptional.

Today I had to return a suction cup I purchased the day before. It is used to remove LED bulbs from a track light. Unfortunately it was too big for the bulb and there wasn’t one designed for smaller bulbs.What happened next impressed me! The girl at the north side cash suggested a regular suction cup not one designed for bulbs. She found out where in the store it was located and pointed me in the right direction. We’ll guess what, it works like a charm. She was pleasant and showed initiative, two things you want in customer service. She deserves some praise and acknowledgment from the management of this store. She’ll go far.Thank you!!

Went in to cut keys. They have this cool automated key kiosk where you follow the step by step process to get keys cut. You get to select different key selections and design. Real easy to navigate and go through the selections. Upon payment, you can use debit card or credit cards. There is a lot of selections for charity donation requests if you choose. There is an option for no receipt or email receipt. I selected no receipt and there is no paper print out of the transaction but there is a toll free number if you have any issues with the keys. Overall very pleased and quick in and out.

Cobourg Home Hardware Building Centre
Had to travel to this store from GTA as it was the only store with stock of the tool I needed. Haven't been here before but this store looks like it might have been upgraded or overhauled it was really nice looking, spacious with lots of stock and selections. The staff were friendly and numerous, made shopping here very easy. Spent way more than the tool I came for but will definitely be taking the 2 hour round trip again.
