This family owned (and often run) cafe has an inviting and serene environment that induces a rejuvenating break while one is there. Between the smiles, good food and drink, decore and local art on the walls and soothing choice of music, this is the place to boost your inner peace.

I do not recommend the matcha. I spent 7$ on a matcha latte and I'm not sure if it was a low quality tea powder or what went wrong but it was just terrible. I had to throw it out :( waste of money completely. Otherwise ,the staff was really nice and I was happy they had different milk alternatives so definitely still deserve a couple of stars at least for that. I don't think I'll ever go back personally.

Great place to hang out at. Friendly staff, good coffee and a good selection of pastries and various other food to eat. The Red Borscht is fantastic. I highly recommend it.

owners and staff are the best. BEST bran muffins anywhere... and their coffee is very good. Java is a great place to work for a few hours or hang out and relax.

Always friendly staff and excellent food and coffee make it a favorite of mine. Their brownies are amazing, I have personally became addicted to them since I have been working near by. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing coffee shop.

My favourite local café. Clean, casual, with bright colours, plants and artwork; a friendly staff; and a good selection of good food. Decent prices, too! I usually order the muffin/coffee combo. The outdoor seating is ample, and, if it's too crowded, you can always take your order to the park a door down, on the same side of 16 Avenue.

I had a scrumptious morning glory muffin and vanilla latte (best in the neighborhood!) loved hearing all the laughter from the girls working behind the counter. Brightened up my day, will be back for more!
