BMO Bank of Montreal

I wanted banking information and to deposit funds. The rep was polite and client friendly. She provided the answers to my banking questions and handled my deposit. She was very helpful and professional. Would recommend to family and friends.

3rd world bank and 3rd world branch. This branch was better sometime ago but now it's really bad. I met once with the manager but from her body language i know she is not really listening to your concern. Don't deal with this branch and would advise find another brand Bank. I will be closing my checking and business accounts soon before the end of this year.

The staff they have at all the BMO branches don't seem to be very knowledgeable. I've been trying to resolve an issue since I opened an account in October, still haven't been able to get it resolved, making this a very unreliable place to do your banking. Overall I think this has been the worst bank I've ever dealt with, nothing is worth this much trouble.

Met with Hibah who was proactive about our investments and accounts. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will be going back to her for sure.

This branch is very necessary to strengthen the training of tellers. 1. Say hello, no response. 2. Lack of professional knowledge and no explanation to customers. Compared with other bmo branches, the management here is very poor. Won't come back

Signed docs for a business LOC and business Mastercard 2 months ago. 2 MONTHS AGO!!! Havent heard anything yet. Email the advisor, shes on vaca for a month. Call the phone helpline, wait for over 60 minutes, get bounced from department to department just to end up right back at the beginning of the waiting queue! Emailed my advisor back this week, havent heard a peep back. This is a subpar and embarrassing customer experience. I would have a mind to cancel my services, but I wouldnt even know who would respond to me.

0 stars if possible, avoid this branch at all costs. Do yourself a favor and just go to the branch in Hull, where the employees actually do there jobs and are helpful.The employees and management at this branch are the worst of any BMO branch I've been to in 2 provinces.

This has been the best banking experience I have ever received. Between Josh at the head office and Hibba at the branch, I couldn't have been treated better. Thank you for all of your assistance.

I’ve been a BMO customer since 14 years old now I’m 30. I’ve sworn by BMO all these years BUT lately BMO has become mediocre in customer service, in empathy and many more.I had a fraudulent situation happen to me few weeks ago to which I signaled BMO. They assured me it would be rectified but nothing happened. I was directed to this Vanier branch. I had informed the Branch Manager who called me to book the appointment that I am working and can only make it there at 4:33pm due to traffic and distance, she confirmed and said ok if I am even able to get there earlier it would be appreciated.I couldn’t as mentioned traffic is massive in that area on Fridays, I arrived and I noticed a banker in her office and I signalled her that I had a meeting with Maria (mind you I didn’t not know who I was looking for by face, I was just hoping she would direct me to the right person). Without even making an effort to turn her head from the computer, she responds with every rude bone within her “well you are late your appointment was at 4:15pm” I told her no and she cuts me to repeat it without removing her eyes from her computer, she was just cold rude and unwelcoming. Now if it was a mistake on my part TRUST ME I would take ownership but the fact that this girl who is equally meeting me for the first time gave me such rude first impression without knowing the conversation I had with her branch manager 2 hours earlier was just my tipping point with BMO.She looked very bothered and unconcerned whatsoever, and I get it cause she wasn’t the one who got frauded but I thought the BASIC quality bankers are supposed to embody is empathy??? To all my readers, there are better banks (do a research and see) don’t settle for this horrible bank and leave your hard earned money in their hands.The problem for which I traveled in traffic to their branch was not even settled, in the end she told me they were closing, wrote the number I should call and rush Ed me out. When you call you are on hold for 2 hours minimum, it’s unacceptable and I have decided never to do business with them again, some of their competitors are more competent.
