Linton's Farm Market

Bought a large basket of their strawberries thinking they would be fresh, but they were mostly watery, and 2/3s of them were mushy, and the flavour was very lacking. I cut them up because I had to make a dessert with them but the flavour was not great and the amount of watery, mushy strawberries was disappointing. Very disappointing from a 'farm fresh' stand because they put a lot of nice berries on top and all the bruised, mushy ones underneath and then they put up a sign telling you not to switch berries. Not worth the trip at all, I've had much better strawberries from Costco which is sad.

I fell in love with this place on my first visit. Great place to take kids. There is a whole play area with a sand box, a race track for kids tricycles and a couple games. Admission for kids is 5 and for adults 3. There is a lot of seating area and benches for tired out parents. They did a show where they shot rockets at pumpkins. There is a corn maze and a regular fenced maze to try with your kids. The food at the food market was just amazing. For 25 dollars, I was able to get Jam, assortment of vegetables and tarts. The apples, OMG, I have never had apples that tasted so good. You can also purchase snacks. Overall it was a well spent day. Affordable fun.

Such a nice market. We went to the pumpkin patch during fall. Such a good price for both admission plus a pumpkin. Our 1.5 year old loved it! We will definitely be making this an annual thing.

I've been coming here for almost 20 years to buy fresh corn, fruit and other Linton Farm grown vegetables. I'd also bring our daughter here when she was very young to see the goats, chickens and the ponies. She now attends Carleton University in Ottawa. I'm actually heading here this morning to pick up veggies and desert for our Thanksgiving dinner.Thanks for the great memories Linton Farms!Dave Knight - Oshawa ON

We were looking to go apple picking and all the farms were crazy busy with no parking and massive line ups. We stumbled upon here and saw it wasn't crazy busy, since it doesn't have Apple picking, and decided to check it out. So glad we did. It's a very cute market, the animals are very few but lovely. The main feature we loved was the kids play area. Carnival type games in farm style! I didn't get to get pictures of the play structures, and they are beautifully crafted. Great place for kids. We didn't go apple picking however, we walked away with a huge head of cabbage, yellow cauliflower, mini pumpkins, mums, a great play day and my son made a friend with one of the sheep ❤Update: this time we went strawberry picking. They are absolutely delicious and cheaper than other places.

Good priced farm vegetables,eggs, curds. Amazing variety of pumpkin. The play area for the kids had so many things to do. Kids had a great time, bikes, slides, bowling, maze. $5.00 there is a petting Zoo also on the other side.

My daughter and I went strawberry picking. It was awesome. The farm takes you to the fields on a big trailer. It was wonderful seeing the farm fields. The strawberries are delicious! We also went in to the farm market and got some delicious vegetables.
