Not fast food. Orders taking 25 minutes to serve.Ensure you go through the drive thru so you get your order in any sort of speed. While we were eating an umbrella blew out of an outside table and hit a kid. No staff even noticed.

We stopped for a quick dinner enroute to the ferry from Penticton. As soon as we walked toward the door, we could see that this A&W was so well cared for. The planters are welcoming and the outdoor dining area was spotlessly clean. Once we got inside we were met with a very clean and tidy restaurant and smiling staff offering to assist us. We ordered food then went to sit down while we waited for it to be freshly prepared. Around the corner from the service area were sinks for little and big people to wash up before eating (and maybe after too!). That's a thoughtful addition! Our food was very fresh, hot and super tasty. I had a rings burger in a lettuce bun and definitely needed to use the sinks after I was done! The frosty mugs are a lovely way to serve the legendary A&W root beer too! Thanks! We will definitely be back next time we are coming through Hope (going beyond Hope!).

Moderately busy, but quite dirty. Tables were available, but all were dirty. You have to clean your own. Good parking. Food was prepared properly. Staff was a tad undertrained, but got the job done. I suspect that priority is directed primarily to the drive through.We will try again sometime and see if this is the rule or the exception

No problems with the food , However the worst service I have ever rec'd at one of your locations. I blame lack of direction of the management . was there on a long weekend, 12 peolple waiting to be served, 10 people flipping burgers but only one server at the till .when the meal arrived 30 min later , they hadn't even trained the fella bringing out the food to use the number system. He called out one item on the order and expected everyone to desipher if it was possibly their meal being brought out . NEEDS TO USE THE NUMBER SYSTEM THAT IS ON THEIR ORDER BOARD.The people in the back seemed to be clueless of what was going on .Spend time on your employees and your operation will thrive.

We stopped here on our way to Merritt, and were hoping for the same quality and service we expect from any other A&W. Walking in with zero line up, the lady at the cash hardly noticed us and was lethargic at best. She never offered us our receipt and walked away to ignore a customer looking for assistance. I had to point them out to her.We received our food fairly quickly, but weren't able to ask for additional Ketchup/ Mayo sauce packs. Completely ignored by the cashier and eventually turned away You have to ask someone else..." ask who? you are the only one at the front ... I am very disappointed this is not what one should come to expect customer service wise. Avoid this location."

Ordered a mozza burger with fries and a rootbeer, when I sat down I saw there was no lettuce, bacon or sauce on my burger. Just a beef patty, I asked for my burger to be remade. The next burger was missing bacon, a topping that comes standard on the mozza burger and when I noticed it was missing the woman behind the counter brought out cold bacon strips on a napkin. By this time my fries had gotten cold and the lady seemed short tempered and not willing to happily serve the customer, so I left without asking for a refund.I have had good experiences at this location before so I assume that employee must have been having a bad day but this is still no reason for poor customer service.

Busy location with staff trying their best, but the tables and chairs were not clean and bit of a wait for food, prioritizing drive through. Food is good.

I hate to give this place only one star because I love the teen burger but the customer service at this restaurant is the worst I have experienced in Hope and that says a lot. Just incredibly rude. Workers who hate their job. And a cheap owner who never has anything in stock. It’s incredibly frustrating as with even a tiny bit of customer service it would be a great restaurant.
