Good times on a good sunny day for a beach day or a picnic date or a fishing trip ;) they have an ice cream shop that is actually located cross the road from the beach!!

Had an amazing time camping here. The sites are open so yiu can visit your neighbour's if you like but far enough apart to give you privacy. The shop is handy to have there with groceries in the event you forgot some. The only thing I would change is your no dogs on beach

Horrible lake, thick with algae, likely from all the agriculture chemicals in the area. The whole area stinks like a septic tank overflowed. Lots of dead fish washed ashore. Place is disgusting.

We have been here twice. The last time to visit my sister who was visiting her in-laws. It is a nice place to visit, the campground is nice enough and the lake spot we sat at was good.. They have a little convenience store there that sells a variety of Ice Cream treats. Like all Lake and Campground stores, it is a little pricey, but decent and reasonable for being out of the way. Outside of Brandon and Virden,MB. The kids spent a lot of time in the lake. And we had a Picnic table where we sat by the lake. The only downside was that the washrooms next to the store were not being maintained and ran out of TP. As opposed to filling the toilet paper dispenser, they locked both bathrooms and put an out of order sign on them. So either they were out of TP Rolls (Not Likely) or someone was too lazy and could not be bothered to service the bathrooms (More Likely). Either way, not impressed about that. FUN FACT: In India, they use one of their hands and just wash it off, or worst case they use News Print.

Very nice area. Beaches were non existent though. Store was very under stocked. But overall very good experience over the week

Smallish provincial park. Nice playgrounds, lake is good early in the season. Big private RV campground and gold course adjacent.

They changed up the beach a bit and it's MUCH better. Easier to walk in and water was (June 2022) almost crystal clear. But it's not friendly to those with mobility issues. They added a nice walking path to the play ground. We ordered lunch from the creemee and while there was some high prices it was well worth it! Portions were huge and everything tasted amazing.Bug spray is a must have.

My kids loved the beach. I was not a fan of scrubbing dried algae off them when we got home. The restaurant by the back is waaaaay overpriced, the food was mediocre, and the staff were unmotivated and rude. The playstructure here is awesome though.
