I wish that bagels were an option for the salmon, cream cheese and capers. While the twirl bread looked gorgeous, it was not so delicious...a bit dry. Thank you for the friendly service. The strudel was delicious.

We visited today - having spent most of the day being rained upon. On arrival - the restaurant was very full - with many seats taken. It didn't take them long to find us a table for 2. Whilst waiting - we were able to look at the food on offer.It all looked delicious - and I was having a hard time choosing. Our waiter said they had a special schnitzel, so I chose that (extra cheese - and ham in it) and I chose the home made spaetzle as an accompaniment.Our drinks arrived shortly after - and we didn't wait long for our food to arrive.All of the guests that were sat around us seemed to be really enjoying theirs - with people taking doggy bags" of leftovers when they were leaving.The food was a good sized portion

Excellent auethetic Austrian / German cuisine. Price is reasonable and portion is decent. We especially like the sausage and spaetzle! Highly recommend to dine here if you drop by radium hot spring.

We chose to eat out in the patio so we didn't experience of the inside of the restaurant. We were there at opening and were promptly greeted.n.The server gave us out menu,and water. She told us about the daily special and was able to explains items On the menu. The meals were served piping hot and delicious.The staff was attentive and friendly.In fact, Franz the owner, came out at twice to see that everything was satisfactory. Only regret? Did not leave room for the yummy looking apple strudel.

I came to Radium with my girlfriend for vacation and thought we would try out this resteraunt because we had seen photos of the resteraunt posting Wecome Albertans" on facebook. We quite enjoyed the ambiance. I liked the old german/austrian theme inside the resteraunt and the folk music in the background. The food was absolutely phenominal! I was nicely filled after I ate and thought about how good it was for the next few days! The reason I took off a star though was because of the server. She seemed a bit gruff when she first brought us to the table. When we asked her for a description of the food

If you want true German/Austrian food you will be disappointed. Even the beer is not a good beer. Lemon Radler is a basic and running out of Lager is sad. And never serve Spätzle without Sauce or Cheese! It was good, but not how I expected it. Nice try!

Food was excellent. My steak was cooked to perfection. My husband got a pork schnitzel was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend.Our server was very nice and courteous as well.

Delicious from start to finish. Not pictured were the delicious smoked salmon appy and the BEST CHEESECAKE I HAVE EVER HAD.For mains we had the rack of lamb and the daily special. Both were exemplary and exceeded or expectations.Staff were competent and friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and attentive.Ambience is quaint but not cheesy.
