Ontario Custom Glass

This man is a scam artist. We gave him a 1/3 deposit and then he wanted the other 1/3 before any work was actually done. He refused to return our money even though we wanted to cancel the project before any work was even started. He threatened us and demanded more money for doing NOTHING! This is a a criminal, stealing from people.Under no circumstance should anyone do business with Ontario Custom Glass.Save your money and find a reliable company instead of this con artist.

Mark and his team did a great job installing a very long beautiful exterior glass railing on my deck. Just love it. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for an unobstructed view of their yard. Thanks so much for a job well done. Happy customer.

Con Artist. Ontario Custom Glass has a fancy website, but no actual office location. The owner shows up, asks for 1/3 deposit to get started, another 1/3 deposit after measurements are done - and then you never see him again. Good luck trying to get your money back. The police are currently investigating him for Fraud, as he's done this many times in the past. He has a history of creating companies, robbing people, and then shutting the company down when he looses in small claims court - only to open a new company with a similar name and do it all over again. Run fast, as he especially loves to rob the elderly, young families and small business owners.

Mark is the most unprofessional person we have ever worked with and we have worked with LOTS of trades over the years. His work is so poorly done that that we have to have it completely replaced which will cost us thousands. Run in the other direction - do not hire him to do any work at your home or business. He can't be trusted and posts his own fake (positive) reviews on Homestars and on his website.We have had several people inspect his work and they have all commented on how bad it is. Within weeks of the fence being installed the gate stopped working, the ends of the fence have no supports, the glass panels are crooked and installed upside down. He is a complete joke.He requests payment by certified cheque because he knows people will not pay him once they see his work. The second he is paid he disappears.

I spoke with plenty of people before making a decision and I can't tell you how happy I am we went with you. Your service is outstanding, you focus on getting the best outcome for your customers and all of the products used are of a high standard from the top to the bottom. Ontario Custom Glass is a waste of your time and your money. Just read the other reviews. Terrible experience. Mark does not conduct himself or his business with any integrity or professionalism. After 2 months of the glass getting lost or falling off a truck or not returning calls, and after an incomplete job, he insisted upon paying him more and more up front. Ridiculous. Got a different company to complete the job and it is scheduled to be done within 48hrs.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of working with this horrible human being Mark Vlahovic and his equally disgusting wife in 2011. We had an agreement for him to install glass at my house, which he did not do. We took him to court and won. He still refused to pay, closed his company down and opened a new one, and after many years and wasted time I have had to abandon my case. Don't let this criminal con you too. He is a pro at navigating the legal system and using tax payer dollars to rob people over and over again.

Horrible experience dealing with Mark and his company. He came to my house to see the job, took the deposit, came back to do the measurements at which point i paid him 50% upfront. He was almost a month late to come and install the glass and the handrails on my stairs. He brought a piece of glass that was cut wrong and installed it trying to convince me that it's supposed to be that way. In the end he admitted it was his mistake and agreed to replace it. Another big piece of glass he brought was scratched and damaged around the edges, which he said the factory would replace no problem and he would come to do it right after the weekend. Then i made huge mistake and gave him the rest of the cash in good faith not even thinking that he might not ever show up to replace the two pieces of glass. That's exactly what happened. Nine months have passed since that day and I just couldn't get a hold of him to come and complete the job. I would never recommend this company to anyone and if you ever do business with them DON'T pay them a cent until you're 100% satisfied with the work. You may never see them again.

I recently had work done at my condo and was very satisfied with the work and the result of the project. I had 2 closet enclosures done and found the company was excellent in the installation as well as the whole outcome of the project from beginning to end. This company is a unique family owned business. All members are personable and professional in their approach to the project. I recommend them highly and will use them for my next project. We had Ontario Custom Glass come in and install 2 showers to our newly renovated home, both Laura and Mark were pleasant, reliable and respectful through the whole process. If they were running late they were great with reaching out and communicating. Reasonable pricing as well.
