Outstanding food experience. We celebrated anniversary there. Starters were 9/10 (fois gras-10/10, oysters-8/10, lobster-8/10) , main courses 8/10 (duck papardelle 9/10, short ribs 7/10 (a bit salty for me), desserts 9/10 (cheesecake, mille feuille). One option only for sparking wine, however, it was adorable.Service - nice and welcoming.Recommended, but be ready to put some extra money out of your pocket .

Alobar is a really great Michelin addition. Being part of the Alo Group, you can expect great food, warm hospitality, and an overall positive experience. The main positive is that it’s not a huge fight for reservation/time commitment. It’s more than possible to come in for a relatively last minute intimate soiree, drinks, date, etc. I still think that the mille-feuille here is one of the best in the city and is something I get every time! Hands down though, their star dish has to be the foie gras parfait!

Seated promptly with an offer to take our coats which is always nice. Service was good. Was a little disappointed to find they only have one beer offering although there is an extensive wine list. Appetizers were good, East Coast oysters and chilled lobster with gem lettuce and lime aoli. A bit pricey though. For mains we had ricotta mezzelune, which was tasty, and a beef tenderloin substantial in size and very tasty. Dessert was a cheese cake with cherry compote. Delish! Overall a good dining experience but I would add the music was a bit on the louder side.

aloBar yorkville has great flavors and different selection of food. Their Wedge salad is amazing. And the confit duck pappardelle was rich but very well balanced. It was so delicious. I also loved the Mille- feuille. I loved how light and airy it was. The puff pastry was delicious and was a great treat to end off an amazing dinner.

Braised Short Rib = 5/5 (star of the meal)Salmon Crudo =4/5Mille Feuille = 4/5Hamachi Ceviche = 4/5Hokkaido Sea Scallop = 3/5Chilled Lobster = 3/5Service was impeccable. For the quality of food and ingredients, prices are fair. The sparkling wine was fantastic. They also make delicious non-alcoholic cocktails, just tell your server what you’re in the mood for! Patio is lovely and fully shaded. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal here and I will be back.

Alobar was always somewhere we have been wanting to go for awhile but was never able to get a reservation due to popular demand, however we luckily got seats at the bar to visit the restaurant for the first time. I have to say, I was completely mind blown by every single thing we had during dinner. I would rate it 6 stars if I could! The ambiance of the place is absolutely amazing, it feels cozy and warm (the actual temperature inside was perfect), with beautiful lighting. The place was smaller than what I had imagined but it didn't feel squished or crammed in any way. The bar seatings were very comfortable, and it was nice to be able to order food and drinks quickly at the bar.Food was what really blew us away, from starter to dessert, everything was spectacular. Started with Salmon Crudo and Tiger Prawn, which were hands down one of the most delicious thing I've ever had. Salmon had such rich flavours and every bite was a joy. Prawns were big in size, and the garlic and oil along with croutons and mushrooms were harmonious. For mains we had Ricotta Mezzelune and Confit Duck Pappardelle -- these were the best pasta I've ever had. The ricotta and parmesan had such rich creamy flavours with nice texture from the mushrooms. Pappardelle was simply cooked to perfection with the most amazing al dente texture, and the duck and chili oil combination was extremely good. Not to mention the portion sizes, it was actually big portion which was shocking because I was expecting maybe 3 pieces of pasta like other Italian restaurants in similar price range. Lastly, the dessert, we had to get the mille feuille as it looked very famous here. It absolutely was such a treat, the puff pastry was light and flaky paired with rich cream in between the layers. This place is 100% a must return, probably going to come back on a regular basis and try other things on the menu. If I could, I would get exactly everything I got all over again. Everything was 10/10!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food, ambiance, and service were all excellent. We were impressed with the unique flavors in each dish, and we especially loved the salmon crudo - it was absolutely delicious. What really stood out to us was the level of care the chef put into each dish. We actually had a slight delay in receiving our order because the chef wasn't happy with how it turned out the first time, so he made it again to make sure it was perfect. We really appreciated this attention to detail and dedication to quality. The service was also outstanding. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always available to answer any questions we had. Overall, we had a great time at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

All around good experience. Love the drinks. Out of all the dishes we ordered, the standouts were the confit duck pappardelle (so rich but so good, great for sharing) and the Mille feuille (so light!). Great service too. Will be back as there are more dishes I still want to try!

Nothing compared to a real Alo Experience and personally surprised this place got a Michelin star. Service was pretty bad to be honest. Everyone's so young, staff having a great time with each other but not professional in my opinion. Our waiter literally ran off in the middle of a sentence to talk to a friend and came back like way later to finally take our order, which I thought was outrageous to be honest at a place like this.Food was overrated and expensive. Pasta was underwhelming for the price, the braised short rib was good though. Went for my birthday, no free deserts, charge for bread and overall I wouldn't recommend this place unfortunately. It was good, but nothing special in terms of memorable dishes, service or anything really. Bread was good though. Really surprised this has a Michelin star.
