Island View Beach Regional Park Campground (May-September)
Island View beach camping is great as long as your site is not next to the small road that divides the tent camping from the RV camping. Last year I parked our truckcamper alongside that road. People sped up and down it all night long. I envisioned suggesting they put a gate there. Turns out there already is a gate. But they don't close it at night because people might want to go kayaking." In the middle of the night? It is so tiny

Most definitely a great beach to hang out at day/night! I highly recommend going for a walk down the trail for a while… Been going here since I was a kid and it never gets old.

Requires proper washing and toilet facilities. Ideal location by the ocean. Spots well marked. Friendly staff. Family oriented. Most observed guidelines of noise, etc. but one camper was smoking and open pit fire, both of which were not allowed. I saw a rat - ugh... That needs to be eradicated. I would camp there again.

Really nice spot, calm inside, Jaun de fuca waters. You can camp at the site or get a parking pass to kayak from there to some of the islands around. Sandy beach with a mix of soft sand with layers of pea size stones.

Island View Beach Regional Park Campground (May-September)
The camper spaces are open, only a section of fence separates them. But it is plenty wide enough and you have a picnic table. Normally I wouldn't even stay with this setup, but the park was very clean and everyone was friendly and respectful. The beach is long and beautiful and there is also a path. We watched falcons wheel around all day.

Island View Beach Regional Park Campground (May-September)
A friendly-feeling campground with a very nice view and excellent sunsets ☺There is Shaw Open WiFi, but only in the southernmost few campsites. You'll need data if you're at the north end. And if your camper is parked there all day, it can get quite hot inside as there is no shade at all on a sunny day. There's no power, and no plugin water. There is a water tank thing with a tap that you can fill jugs up with though.

Nice campground surrounded by lovely trails. It's full of black berry during August and full of flowers during May.The tent/camper sites are amazing!

Island View Beach Regional Park Campground (May-September)
One of the best Campgrounds I've been at on the Island. Prices are very fair, facilities are all you need (except showers), and the location is stunning. Directly at the beach with plenty of sun!
