Claddagh Riding Stables

Amazing stable! My daughter did 5 weeks of camp here. Originally we planned for 2 weeks but it was so good and she loved it. The Saddle Club is great. Students get a fair amount of time on the horse. The owner, Rita, is a fantastic teacher and will make sure your child comes away with a lot of knowledge on all aspects of equine care and riding technique. I've been to many stables but this one is fairly priced and well run.

Claddagh Stables is wonderful! My daughter absolutely loves spending time there doing lessons, pony club and summer camp. She simply can't get enough! All of the staff have been a so kind and supportive, welcoming my daughter into the family. In addition to riding, my daughter loves spending time with the other animals on the farm and learning how to care for them. She also loves meeting the other riders and learning from them. Claddagh Stables is a lovely family run business offering fantastic programming.

I contacted this place over a year ago for riding lessons. They were very unresponsive. Over a year later (when it was riding season again), I texted the same number asking a few questions and the person responded sarcastically asking if I was asking for a response to my questions from a year ago (which were never answered by her), so, yes, I was. I'm not sure how you run a business being this unresponsive to clients. I won't be contacting them again or accessing their services.

I’ve been riding here for a number of years and the owners and coaches are amazing and have helped me through lots and have taught me so much! I have learned how to ride horses and still learning, I have also learned how to care for them and so much more! I’ve made lots of friends here and gained lots of confidence. I definitely recommend.

Claddagh’s summer camp is by far the best camp my daughters have ever attended. They always had so much fun and came home with so many stories.I highly recommend, not only for the fun they had, but for the confidence building and developing a sense of independence and responsibility.As soon as Ontario gave the all clear for summer camps to open. I reached out to Ciera at the stables, and she was extremely patient and helpful, answering all my questions and is by far one of the nicest people I have ever met.The staff and trainers working there take the safety and well-being of the campers and all the animals very seriously. Claddagh is a total horse camp. Our kids spent their days ridding, grooming, and learning about the horses. They learn everything that comes with caring for horses. If you’re looking for a camp for your kids to go and play tag or do arts and crafts this is not the place. The kids have already made it clear they want to go back for the full summer next summer and currently working to enroll them in private training through the year. I would give a 10-star rating if I could.

My daughter did NOT want to go to camp - she went kicking and screaming. She has fallen in LOVE with riding because of the amazing people at Claddagh (and the horses aren't bad either :) ). This camp has been so organized, and the ladies running it are communicative and so helpful. They have put together a camp during a really tough time - the balance between Covid protocols, Weather, animals and fun - and its been a great week. We will be back!!!

This place offers summer camps and other camps on their website but actually when you try to enroll, they don’t have any online registration system in place. Registrations are only by phone calls and that too they don’t get back and then eventually they ll revert that they are full. Not very professional facility.

Hands down the BEST farm ever!!My daughter joined Claddagh Stables 2 years ago and it's been the Best decision we ever made. The atmosphere of this farm is calm and relaxing for both the horses and riders. It's therapeutic in so many ways for the kids. They take care of their horses and animals with such love. This makes learning and riding a success ever time. My daughter enjoys going every Friday, Summer, Winter and March break camp. She's come so far in her horsemanship and riding. The Owner and Coaches are knowledgeable and very friendly.The Barn family is the Best choice!! And Barney (farm donkey) greets you with his charm.

My daughter has been riding at Claddagh for a number of years. She has done the Saddle Club, Saturday on the Farm, summer camp and lessons. The staff are encouraging, knowledgeable and work at the pace of the learner. My daughter would literally live at Claddagh if she could. When she first started she was shy and unsure of herself but with their help and care she is blossoming into a confident rider as well as overall as a person. Highly recommend:)

Horses and ponies (and sheep and goats and alpaca and donkey) are well cared for and very happy at this barn.The staff are knowledgable and theres an instructor to fit every need, whether you need a patient and relaxed one as you start or one to help push you when they know you're ready and capable.Safety is always kept in mind.Horses and ponies are well picked to match riders ability. They have an important focus on proper horsemanship.Overall highly recommend to riders of all ages and levels.
