Jumping Knight Chess

I recently attended a 6 hour adult workshop (Beginner Level 2) with Jumping Knight Chess, and I give them the highest praise. Agnieszka (a woman international master) was our main instructor, and she is fantastic. She showed many examples from real games to demonstrate her teaching points. She personalized her instruction to the level of the students, and provided specific individualized feedback to each of us on how to play better. She left us with advice on how to continue our study of chess and provided us with detailed notes of her teaching points to study later. If you are thinking of getting back into chess or even learning it for the first time, I highly recommend starting with a workshop from Jumping Knight Chess! I think you will find it to be great fun, and it will give you a chance to connect with others of similar ability.

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Agnieszka and Jumping Knight Chess School. Like Tim, who posted previously, I attended a Adult Improvers workshop hosted by Agnieszka and her husband Paul. For those that don't know Agnieszka Matras-Clement is a Woman International Master and is currently the highest ranked female chess player in Canada! Not only is she a great player, with memorable stories of clashes with some of chess' most reputable players but, she's also a great teacher who is able to explain difficult chess concepts in an easy to understand way. I was especially impressed in how she prepared some examples from games I had played, even though we had never met. The seminar was fun, interactive, and didn't lack a dull moment. We were also supplied with supplemental resources after the fact to keep our chess improvement journey going strong! I hope to be at another workshop in the near future. Keep up the great work guys!
