Weekday hub for females ( female identifying) in secure bright volunteer resource centre offering info comfort low-income assistance tips and computer photocopy use 9-7 Mon to Thurs fri 9-1. Classes lectures celebration community events well organized in a clean safe monitored setting. Washroom lounge area phone charging access. Easy to drive (limited free parking) or bus train to, has wheelchair accessible entry. Offers plenty on line + in person exercise, mental social classes too. After applying one can pickup arranged foodbank hamper here ( indoors) instead of the industrial site which is inconvenient ( outdoors) for me transportation wise. And request 1x a month 2 basic house body needs, a little specific missing grocery items. Entered contest and took eight persons to Telus spark with 10 bus tx added on all for free! I chill here when I can and always return home motivated goal centred calm.

I've been going to the women's centre for a while now! My mom enrolled me in their summer programs and I absolutely fell in love with the community and the safe environment the wonderful staff and volunteers foster. Even after a couple of years, I still jump at the opportunity to attend an event or workshop hosted here.The staff and volunteers here are absolutely wonderful people that I've been able to connect to, despite being much younger than them. Since I go pretty often, I see a lot of familiar faces there!I love this place so much and suggest that you take a part in the community as well :D

Great (and variety) resources offered for women+identifiers. Transparent and active social media and calendar of events to participate in the various activities occurring. With my first/recent visit/event, there were a lot of staff to ask questions and made me feel at peace, comfortable, and welcomed.

Went to the toy room program yesterday waited about an hour and half to go in. And I thought the no children" in the toy room wasnt a good rule as it would be more exciting for the kids to pick out their gifts. And it makes it easier for some parents who don't know what their kid would want"

Great place for ladies and kids. The ladies working in Women Centre should be awarded. They are all well mannered, soft spoken and helpful in every way. As i am a newcomer in Canada and i am glad that i am putting my reviews for the Centre.I am so impressed that i want to volunteer for this organisation.My love and respect to all the nice ladies working for this organisation.
