Dollarama

Great store. Very big. Organized a little different then other stores are. Overall very happy and I found some cute items here.

I usually come to this dollarama because it’s close. However this time… there was a lady who absolutely refused to help me in any way. Older lady, thin, golden glasses and blond hair. I asked her twice for an item and both times she said no we don’t have it. Didn’t bother looking … I went to look back for my items again, and guess what I found them? She was too busy trying to clean the store and « face » the items. I used to work at dollarama and Sunday’s we had to clean, and make sure all items were brought to the front for easier customer reach. This lady, did not want to help at all. When avoid this dollarama unless you want to find your items on your own. Shame on dollarama for hiring employees who don’t want to help. Shameful!

The store is nice and stocked with a good verity of things BUT there is a lady who is of African American decent with braids who always seems to be extremely miserable. I usually go during the day as I am home while kids are at school and she makes me want to use a different dolleramma. She never speaks, she doesn’t say hi or bye, this time she rang my things through and didn’t ask me if I wanted a bag ( I bought like 8 small items).. she always says nothing to me like she can’t be bothered and it’s extremely off putting. Where is the customer service!?? Does this dolleramma just hire anyone? Very disappointing!

Great finds at this Dollarama. I usually load up with snack food from this place.

Nice store and we'll stocked, much better card selection than other Bowmanville stores. Asked if I could use their bathroom and kind ladies at the till said yes, they walked me back and let me in. When exiting the bathroom there was a skinny old woman who had the nerve to say bathrooms aren't for the public because someone has to stand and wait there. I said okay. She responded it's only for emergencies.. I responded that someone let me in and I just asked. I asked as it was an emergency and I had to go, why else would anyone ask?! Mind your own business.

Lots of items, can have questionable quality at times. But it's a dollar store so no surprises!

Nicely maintained Dollarama with helpful staff. There is a second Dollarama inside the mall next to the Metro. The outside parking area is a mess with potholes.

This is a nice big Dollarama. It was clean and well stocked. It had a very good selection of greeting cards, which was my main reason for popping in. The only tongue-in-cheek bad thing is the way they have so much great impulse buy stuff in the checkout line. :)

I ran in super quick 5 minutes before closing to grab 1 item. Hindu (I believe she said her name was) said no problem and welcomed me in.As I was in an isle, Donna (another associate) looked at me with annoyance and threw her hands up, as if it was a huge inconvenience to her. To speed up the process , I asked her if they had this specific item and where to find it. She responded short saying “Nope” and walked away.If it were past closing time, I would understand the annoyance, HOWEVER the store was not even closed. Huge let down.
