Great customer service! My fairly new glasses had broke and I could not get in contact with the company I had recently purchased them from. He offered me new frames for a very low price and shaped my old lenses into the new frame. Will be going back in the future!

This guys are the best! Whatever problem you have, they'll fix it. They really make you feel that they genuinely want to help you, and they will. Best customer service in Ottawa!They have a wide variety of frames and colors, and if they don't have it, they can order it for you.I don't know if our new prescriptions were better done this time, or if these lenses are just better quality, but it definitely feels so much better compared to when I got my previous eye glasses (at a different place).

A huge shout out to the Bruce Tobin at Optical Excellence at 779 Bank St. My glasses broke when on vacation in Ottawa. Not only did he install a new arm on my glasses, repaired them on the spot for no charge. I would have gladly paid for the repair but he would not accept payment.Their inventory was very interesting. I would love to buy my next glasses there. Who knows, I might just fly back to buy my next pair there.

Flying from Vancouver to Ottawa for Christmas but unfortunately our luggage was delayed due to the craziness of the weather this year. Found this glass store close by and they offered me 4 boxes of contact lens samples for free. I am amazed by their kindness and willingness to help out!!! The owner is a very professional optician with amazing care for his business and customers. Greatly appreciate it!!!

Hidden gem in the Glebe! Walker did an incredible job salvaging a pair of broken frames for an Alzheimer’s patient while Bruce found a long term solution for us. Fantastic team and customer experience!

I brought in a pair of prescription safety glasses that needed the ear piece ends replaced. I tried to get them fixed where I originally bought the glasses but they couldn’t help.I was so fortunate to find Optical Excellence - they took care of my repair immediately while I was waiting and the glasses are better now than when they were new.The repair was very affordable and the experience was like 30 years ago when the shop owners cared about helping people and made a real effort to take care of their customers.Thanks again.

Stopped in looking for help repairing my daughter's glasses. One of the hinges had broken off at the temple. He was able to repair them by replacing the temple with a spare. He called us back having completed the work within 30 minutes, and refused to accept payment. Super nice, helpful, and friendly. The shop looks nicely laid out, with a good selection. Highly recommend.

Snapped an arm off of frames. Brought frame fragments in to see if they could fix them. Said something along the lines that due to the nature of the break the issue was likely for most places beyond repair. Offered a quick solution: popped my old lenses into new frames, and offered a huge discount for the new frames (150$ish --> 60$ flat). Very pleasant experience for my first time in. Nice people.
