Snow Creek Lodge & Cabins

Stayed overnight for a snowboarding trip. Place is right at the base of the hill. We literally walk outside the building and there's the chair lift! Room fits 4 of us comfortably.

Excellent location - a true ski in/ski out facility. Studio apartment fit our family of 4 just fine. Property was well run - desk staff were friendly & helpful, our room was clean and stocked with the basics, pool & hot tubs were functioning and the skiing was fantastic! Would definitely stay again.

I agree that the location and the hot tubs and pool were great and we loved the rental shop right in the Lodge! The decor and some of the furniture are showing their age, but, everything was adequate and the beds were comfy. We stayed in 101 - 2 bed, 2 bath - awesome for our family of 5 adults and 1 toddler. The unit faced the hill, the pool and had a nice balcony. We will try to rent this unit again, when we go to Fernie. Thank you, Owners!

Great summer stay! We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit. One queen and 2 twin, plus sofa bed the price was very reasonable for the area. You'd have to buy your own condiments and oil etc if you wanted to use the kitchen. Also no AC, they provide fans. You can prop the door open to use the hallway AC haha.But it was clean and spacious, great location about 10 minutes to downtown Fernie. The view was amazing!! The gondola goes right past the hotel and you can see the mountains. Pool and hot tub were also open and really nice :)

Snow Creek has an excellent location on the hill as well as a ski rental shop in the basement that provides excellent service. The studio suite we rented was small, had very basic kitchen utensils and a toilet that marginally worked. Snow Creek Lodge is NOT up to a Starwood or Mariott level for facilities and service. When we went down to the main desk for the toilet issue (overflowing/not flushing properly) the very nice front desk person said she would call maintenance. She later came up to the room and said that maintenance said it was most likely in need of plunging (Snow creek supplies a large plunger which we had to use). We said we had plunged the toilet for quite awhile and got it somewhat working but we thought it was a larger plumbing issue. We never saw anyone from maintenance and I guess it should be asked if guests paying $500 night need to plunge their own toilets. I did not have the opportunity to share my thoughts with the front desk staff, as I when went to check out at 9:10 am and no one was there..

Visited Fernie for the first time and stayed here because I booked later than I should have. The rooms are not fancy, but are very comfortable, at least mine was. I was a single traveler and stayed on one of the studio suites. The room was quite cozy, and most importantly, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water -- both of these are necessary when skiing at Fernie. Ski In/Ski out access was fine. Ski lockers are basic, but they do the job. The Ski shop in the basement has lots of good choices to demo on various days. Hot tubs are also very good, and again. Required. If you want an easy meal without going into town, the Rusty Edge and restaurant/bar at the Lizard Creek are both a short walk down the beginner slopes. If I ever get back to Fernie, I'd have no problem staying here again. Also, I got to meet several Snow Creek regulars after skiing in the main lodge room, something you see much these days.

The fold out sofa bed matress was terrible. Location was great. Underground parking was good.

Stayed here for 4 nights during February break at cabin #506 of the Snow Creek Cabins. Cabins 501, 505 and 506 are the oldest of the 6 cabins. Although the location is excellent, the cabins themselves are very tired and in poor repair. They were also very poorly cleaned. Most utensils, pots, pans and kitchen items are very old and in need of replacement. BBQ was disgusting. The furniture was torn and repaired with packing tape. The gas fireplace had a tiny flame that only worked about 30% of the time. The control panel on the hot tub was so worn out that it did not work and so you were unable to adjust temperature, turn on the jets or read the writing. The water was also dirty and looked like it had not been changed in some time. After numerous phone calls to complain - the hot tub issue was finally fixed on the last night of our stay but by then we did not use it by that point. To see the state of this cabin for $1400 / night is completely unacceptable . We would not rent this cabin again.

Definitely a 5 star stay to me! Apartment was clean with all necessities including 2 portable AC units. Very beautiful view from top floors, clean pool and jet tubs. Fitness center was also great. All at a very reasonable price (at least for summertime)

Best resort in Fernie.. Staff is nice. Hot tub keep running by reservation. Clean and super quiet location. Just beside lift...
