Beautifully maintained trails. It's a nice walk on the soft pine needles. The trail doesn't have much elevation.Part of the trail follows a steam. The water is crystal clear. We saw some dead trouts. Their spawning season is over. There are a few loops you can take and they overlap. Trails are clearly maked by color. We did the outer loop in about 2.5 hours.Wish there's more parking. However parking on the side of the road wasn't a problem.

We'll groomed trails... Parking can be a problem on weekends. There were people pushing strollers. There were dogs but they were on leash. The only negative is the garbage st the parking lot. Overflowing and very messy... People should take there trash home... But the trail is clean which means they respect the area.. just not the parking lot.

Gorgeous trails of low-medium intensity. Relatively short loops but you can link together and take longer 4-5k hikes if so inclined.

What a gem! Loved this park and our quick hiking adventure—beautiful little river on the orange trail loop. Many different options and trails to take, so it doesn’t get boring. We came in a hot day and it was very cool inside of the forest and by the water. Each loop would take about an hour. Not a lot of escalation (up the hill)Great place for a hike

Great family walk through the trails with freshly-fallen snow. Love the feel of this forest, and the old railroad story and remnants add to the experience.Multiple loops to try. Our 4-year-old made it through the walk in from the parking lot and one loop in snow pants without too much fussing.Parking lot is free, but please bring a few bucks to stuff into the donation box for upkeep.

Love this place! We walked the orange trail and were rewarded with beautiful fall colours, crunchy leaves and burbling Wilmot Creek. It's an easy walk and other trail walkers we're friendly. On our way out there were several people riding horses on the trails!

Some of the nicest walking trails in south central Ontario. Especially fun during trout (early spring) and salmon (early fall) spawning season. The attached photo are from last sept.

Had a wonderful day with my family on the weekend at Orono Crown Lands. The weather was perfect for a hike. We walked the orange trail but due to time constraints couldn’t finish the trail and had to return from checkpoint #12.The view, the colours, the smell, the sound all worked in harmony at the creek and felt nature was giving me a warm hug.The trail was easy for 3 generation to walk through and the trail kept getting interesting with every step. Will visit again in the winter to check it out in the snowy season.

Had a great experience and plan to visit more often. Very clean and well-maintained, kudos to the volunteers! Also appreciate that the route was well-marked throughout. We took the blue loop (2.5 km) with our toddler on the umbrella stroller and our infant on the carrier and finished it in an hour. The trail can be unpaved, uneven and rugged in parts, so keep that in mind if carrying a stroller.
