The service is the WORST. They don't deliver on time, and when I called their customer service (which are also not helpful) to see where my delivery was - I was told - they're not delivering today because of the snowstorm (meanwhile the roads are clear) - and we're in Canada!! It's worth it to pay more to a professional company because this company only uses sub-contractors, and any deliveries I've received from this company have been unprofessional drivers - one of the driver's didn't know how to use his trucks tailgate; and another time the tailgate was broken - so had to hand bomb my delivery.

Horrible company, if there is a 0 or negative star, I will not hesitate to give it to them. Not sure how this company could stay in business since 1948.First of all, do not be misled by their price quote. We do use Freightcom to ship through them, once it's delivered, you will see all their accessorials such as Lift Gate, Tail Gate cost much more than other companies such as Day & Ross.Secondly, the tracking system does not provide valuable information at all, as if it is still the 70's, the user interface and design is just so ancient, oh maybe that's the one still from 1948.Thirdly, they always miss auto scheduled appointments, by many days. Good luck dealing with your frustrated customers, if you shared the tracking# with them, 1 week later you realized they haven't even come to pick those up yet.Some of their drivers are really rude towards customers, we have multiple complaints from our customers, all against APEX drivers. We just had a case where their driver attempt to deliver alone for a large and heavy box. The driver yelled at my customer (who is an elderly lady) to come to help him unload the package. You will be amazed that a freight company does not have any solution/equipment to unload a package. IF you call and question them, they will tell you they do not have enough man power...Really? It's that our problem that you do not have enough man power to deliver packages when you are the freight company? Hire More? Plan ahead? If you cannot deliver, how about do not take our money?Not to mention they get your package MIA all the time. Multiple calls into support, multiple calls to trace the product, just horrible horrible.One more thing, some of their service representatives are really unprofessional. Everyone will have a bad day and I understand that. But simply cutting off your customer when they are talking, yelling at them and say No No No No No (plus 20+ Not) with really bad attitude"

Worst company in Canada , their prices aren't even good and services are worse. I've been packing orders across Canada , they are the first to spill products and damage them. Do not trust this company with your goods. High chance of damage

I don't usually post bad reviews but today on the 410 this driver cut me off and almost had me squished between another tractor trailer. After he CUT ME OFF he just continued yelling at me. Everyone please be aware of this driver!!! Very dangerous!!!

Had a delivery from Uline and they shipped via Apex. I ended up calling Apex directly to see when my shipment was arriving and the staff on the phone was very understanding and helpful. The driver was also very nice to deal with.

Horrible service.... tried to use them many times giving them the benefit of the doubt and received nothing but grief. Our material was never delivered on time, picked up on time, extra chargers.... etc Never a phone call to follow up or discuss the issue. Customer service is terrible. They honestly deserve a 0 review. One is too generous. Asked to escalate my issue to a manager who was just as rude. Long story short if you have an issue you will receive NO support just attitude. I mentioned I would be giving them a bad review and they just chucked. All business's depend on customers I guess Apex doesn't need the business.

I have never had to write a review before in my life but the service and what I have experienced with Apex is appalling. As I see from the previous reviews, I am not alone here. In particular, Sheila Salter was the person I was dealing with and the lack of accountability is shocking. We used them to deliver an order to our client and they couldn’t get a hold of the homeowner, they finally contacted us 1 week later and advise that there would be storage fee’s applied for keeping the order, when I passed this information on to our client they refused the fee and ultimately cancelled their order with us. Apex had to return the shipment to us and is demanding we pay for the gas fee involved. If we were contacted immediately, we would have called the client, the order would have been delivered without a storage fee and that would be the end. Worst customer service I have experienced, they also have damaged products of ours and do not take any accountability and threaten you with collections. The reviews here are justified with what you will experience at Apex.

This is a very unsafe workplace. Drivers are forced to go through a hallway and congregate in a 6×6 room. If you don't go in you don't get service. Sometimes 3 people at a time. No face masks on shippers. Supervisors were more worried about what they order in for meals than doing there job and servicing customers. I was there to pick up something they didn't get delivered. Had to hand bomb a skid over to dock then into my van. The place is a health and safety catastrophe. I understand why Brampton was a hot spot for covid19.

NOBODY has the right to treat people the way Apex Motor Express treats people.If I could give this company negative 5 stars I would. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. You speak to one person be it the driver or dispatch, and you think it can't get any worse, until you speak to the next person and realize it can get worse. Non-stop excuses, blaming the customer for their own deficiencies.The way they spoke to my wife was deplorable, so much so that I am reporting them to the Freight Management Association of Canada, and any other regulatory authority I can find. These people need to be taught a stern lesson.
