Honestly, this place is amazing. I’ve been coming for years. The fish and the fries are fresh and delicious. I usually get the halibut and chips and it’s definitely worth the price. I recommend getting some and crossing the street to go eat in Trinity Bellwoods in the nice weather!

Fries seem to be cooked much earlier not too fresh. But excellent quality ingredients I can tell definitely oil is not bad quality like other restaurants. Potato and fish quality good. Haddock was better than cod. Coslaw good.

Hooky's Fish and Chips
I'm a Fish n Chips afficionado and Hooky's did not disappoint. It's a small joint, but I liked looking out on the bustling sidewalk. my crew all got the Cod, which was cheapest, and all gave it a 10. Very interested to know if the other more expensive fish can be any better. AND the true sign of a pro FN'C shop-the chips are fried in their own oil, so no fishy tasting chips here! Perfect batter, super crispy, and very affordable.

Fish and chips were good. Nice light and crispy batter. It's perfect. Nice texture and flavor. The chips tasted homemade. It's a simple meal but done well. The chef who made our food was friendly as well

Amazing Amazing amazing. I went with my wife and it was our first time trying it and I have to say it's the best restaurant you would eat fish and chips in town. Cory was very knowledgeable, very pleasant and most importantly he was happy to help and recommend us what to order. The fish and chips were fried in very clean oil you can easily tell by looking at it. All their sauces are amazing. The taste is super delicious. Cory, we will be back to try the calamari.

Hooky's Fish and Chips
Ordered from uber eats after seeing all the reviews hyping this place up but the food was honestly so disappointing. I got the halibut and calamari. The portion sizes were good but the food just wasn’t cooked right. The fish tasted bland and the chips were stale and tiny as if they gave the leftover scraps and the calamari was fried in way too much batter. If you’re looking for good fish and chips stay away from this place!!

Hooky's Fish and Chips
The cod and chips here was very reasonably priced. The batter on the cod was pretty good as well. My only complaint was the fries. It seemed like it was refried a few times before it hit my box. It was almost dehydrated. There were also a lot of little pieces and scraps like it was at the bottom of a frozen bag. Maybe it was bad luck so I will definitely try again. Again, the cod was awesome.
