Dr. Luc Lapointe *NOT Accepting Patients*

I have been a patient for almost 10 years and I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Lapointe as my doctor. He listens to my concerns and addresses them promptly. He takes mental health very seriously and recommended a program that I attended through the R.O for depression. His follow up is consistent, genuine and appreciated. I’m in great hands!

Negligent and writes his own positive reviews.Malpractice, pushed aside dxs, and refuses to listen to other specialists on health matters.Dangerous. The best thing I did was leaving and asking for my records so I could see how many referral requests he did not send and what he said in them.It is here, lol: I found several harmful dxs i didn’t even know he gave me. Spicy.It took years to fix my record and likely years in wheelchairs from something that could have been prevented if in the 8 ish years I was with him he simplyLooked.Take any other doc. Any. Cpso reports, and please take care of yourselves when using this clinic.After leaving was the first and only time I saw specialists. Within a few months of distance from this medical worker I was able to get diagnosed through walk ins for spinal instability, brain bleeds, and now potentially Ms.The thought of anyone else in this spot brings me to tears so if something feels wrong please take care of your family and find a doctor who has not had issues with licensing.

You can tell when he writes his own reviews. ABSOLUTELY the most ARROGANT human I have ever met …so much so that he is a BULLY mixed with a CHILD who takes TANTRUMS. Be ready to find out which personality he shows up with that day… regardless it will be a bad one!!! I’m soooo happy I finally found another doctor. STAY AWAY

I'm very, very fortunate to have Dr. Lapointe as my GP. He's a straight shooter: he tells you exactly what you need to hear to understand your issue. And he's great at explaining things in a relatable way. Very polite and professional Doctor, and I would say the same about his staff.

Dr Lapointe has been my family doctor as well as my kids since 2007.We are very lucky to have such an exceptional doctor. He's very through, doesn't sugar coat , tells you exactly what's going on.. I have referred him to many people and they love him as well.Hope he's loving his job as much as we all love him.

I have been with Dr. Lapointe for over a year now and I must say he is the best doctor I have ever had. He is a straight shooter but also very thorough in his explanations, he listens to your concerns and isn’t a pill pusher. He is almost always on time or early. He has a laid back atmosphere with great music playing in the background. His receptionist Kaitlin, is the best around. She returns your calls in a timely manner and is always quick to get you in for an appointment. 5 stars all around!

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr.Lapointe! I moved to Ottawa in 2012 and was fortunate to find him at an Appletree clinic, he has been mine and my partner's doctor ever since. He's great, attentive and actually cares about his patients. He's not a pill-pusher" like my previous doctor and gives you all of your options. Visits are not rushed and Claudine is fantastic to deal with when booking appointments & when you first come into the office! :)"

Dr. Lapointe is great. He's always friendly, is never in a rush, yet is somehow also always on time. I can get an appointment quickly when I need to. I'm always kind of nervous to bring up any issue with a doctor, but he always takes the time to discuss any questions I have. In this city, where it is so hard to find a GP, I consider myself lucky to not only have one, but one who is competent, and whom I really like.My only criticism" is the way the reception area is laid out with the desk

I have been a patient of Lapointe for about 7 years now and I am so grateful that he’s my family doctor. Kaitlin is also amazing. Able to get appointments usually the same week. And I get timely results on my tests.

While visiting Canada from the UK I became unwell and was in a lot of agony. Just out of chance I visited the surgery on the off chance. I can't thank Dr luc enough for making time to see me without an appointment. It certainly brings back faith in humanity when people carry out good deeds thank you Tommy farr.
