First visit here after hearing about this place. We had the Singaporean brunch weekend specials. See my photos. Taste was good but the rice for both the nasi Lemak and beef rendang was quite dry. The laksa was ok but the portion size was quite small for $23.

I visit Kiss My Pans almost once a month because they are that GOOD! Jeanne and David are probably the most welcoming, sweet and caring small business owners you can find in Toronto. Not only they are proud of their Singaporean heritage, they make every Singaporean dishes they serve from scratch (you have no idea how labour intensive these dishes are!), at the same time support local businesses and they also care about what goes into their customers' stomach. The of the food, The ingredients they use and the time they put into it, definitely justify the price. No matter how busy they get in the weekends, they always make sure to say hello and get to know you. If you're new to Singaporean dishes, Jeanne would passionately explain them all to you. If you're from Malaysia/Singapore, you would feel like home heree. This is exactly like our kopitiam back home, breakfast set comes with one strong kopi, perfected timed soft boiled eggs, fresh toast with homeade kaya that would transfer your soul back home.Whenever I'm in the neighbourhood with my friends, I would bring them over to try something and many of them have become regulars!

Went to try this place for the famous Kaya toast. It was so good!! They serve brunch only during the weekends - and I highly recommend it. We also got the laksa and the yuzu ice tea. I wish there was food served on ceramics and not disposable plates/bowls. But other than that , delicious food and an amazing cafe to visit

While you can certainly buy cheese here, this shop is better known for its Singaporean breakfasts on the weekends. Find a rotating menu that includes kaya toast, beef rendang, lontong, nasi lemak, satay, and a small selection of kuih. Great flavours here and I love the memories people share that prompted them to seek out this very unique brunch option in the city. There is also a curated selection of pantry goods and chocolates that complement any cheeses you may pick out.

Nice little place for authentic Singaporean cuisine during the weekend, very limited seating, also very limited menu with classic Singapore dishes such a Laska, Beef Rendang, Curry Chicken with Prata and Nasi Lemak. Kopi is a Singaporean coffee, strong expresso served with condensed milk, very tasty.

We can't get enough of the Singaporean brunch (available Sat-Mon) offered at Kiss My Pans. The laksa is new on the menu and the broth is absolutely perfect. Also loved the nasi lemak and kopi. The sambal in the nasi lemak is available for purchase if you'd like to punch up any dish. Also check out the pandan kaya (sold in jars). They're great for toasts!

Full on Singaporean experience that made me feel like going on a trip to Singapore without actually flying over there. We went in with an empty stomach and we tried as much as food possible. It was snowing outside and Longtong soup ($19) was a perfect choice. Loved this different type of rice cake inside the soup and shrimp based lemongrass coconut soup was fantastic! Nice crunch from jicamma and loved big pieces of tofu in it. So comforting! And it was just perfectly spicy! So excited when I found out they had Beef rebdang ($24). Was totally worth it and I could tell how much work was put on to make this beatifully braised meat!To finish, we tried pineapple puff($4.50), famous kaya croissant ($3.90) and Kueh Pulut Tai Tai with durian jam ( $12.99)All desserts were solid good. Pineapple puff was packed with homemade pineapple paste, durian jam with lovely salted kaya rice cake dyed with blue pea flower was so fragrant!Shame on me that I did not order Kopi to go with all these dessert this time.Had leftover durian jam and enjoiyed with crackers later on.As much as the place itself is so cozy with all the cute decorations with nice character to it, both Jeanne and David’s welcoming hospitality was amazing. Felt so comfortable to chat and hang out at the shop. Hopefully this weekend- popup will continue to be a regular service and cannot wait to try more food.

Fun neighborhood spot for Singaporean dishes. The kaya bread and soft-cooked eggs from the Singaporean breakfast dish were lovely. Also enjoyed the Kopi Peng. Friendly staff and fairly quick service. Would recommend ideally for smaller groups of 2-4 — make sure everyone is there first because seating is only done when the entire party is present.

Singapore Brunch Review:If you’ve been to Singapore, then you know the greatness that is Kaya Toast and this may be the only place I know that offers it.If you haven’t been to Singapore, everything is a flavour explosion in your mouth with what tasted the most authentic you can get without actually being thereHighly recommend Kaya Toast (dip and stir in that egg), Kopi (coffee), and the Nasi Lemak with the Otak Otak (steamed fish that takes a whole day to make with a dozen spices!) if you don’t know anything else to order.Plus it’s a cheese shop so charcuterie accessories for all!All that to say, we’ll definitely be back over, and over, and over again…

Very delicious and authentic tasting Singaporean food. It was a treat to find this restaurant and we were glad that they were open. The Beef Rendang was very tasty and cooked so well that it melts in your mouth. It was also great to have some Kopi after so long. The place has a great ambience and the owners do everything to keep their patrons happy.
