McQuesten Urban Farm

The most community focused bunch of people I've met. I'm sick but I can't wait to help out down there. I've been waiting for two yrs to get well enough. This place exemplifies what community is all about. There is so much knowledge to be gleaned from growing your own food. And really - it's liberating. The world is facing many challenges and it is places like this and people like this that will save our precious planet. And along the way there are so many individual opportunities to make an impact. I encourage everyone to benefit from the delicious produce but I really hope people behind to understand the crisis the world faces with this worsening food shortage.

This place is beautiful and the park is excellent I absolutly love this idea and there should be more projects like this around the city

Great place to be...McQuesten in general is a great place...they offer breakfast every monday and thursday...and thursday nights they run a weed and feed where you learn about gardening and also enjoy a great meal

Very good, we need more of these around but the hours for selling dont match my needs.

Mcquesten urban farm is our local farm which helps to feed our residents. During covid19 the building is closed. However, on Saturday mornings there is an outside market where you can get great, fresh produce for very low prices. In full disclosure, I work as a volunteer for the mcquesten bistro as cook at the mcquesten community centre. Also affiliated with Niwasa.

My husband volunteers here I think it's a great initiative for the community and I truly believe on it, the quality and price of the products are amazing and I love supporting this great initiative and would love to see more of this popping spring the city in the near future, help the neighborhood needs with healthy food and gardening plus building a mindful and conscious community around the environment and our local foods. Thanks a lot for doing this
