As a former employee of Ardrossan Automotive I wish to publicly announce that I had never worked anywhere in my entire career as a journeyman tech in the automotive industry , that I found the owners to be as honest and trustworthy and just the most down to earth people that can be found in any smaller shop in the Edmonton and rural surrounding area.They have a very long list of clients who have become good friends as well , knowing that their vehicles will be well taken care of with each visit , and know that the price is more than fair, and will refer their friends because they will be treated equally as well

If you are looking for an honest repair shop that does high quality work this is the place. Highly recommend it. Don runs the kind of shop you can send your kids to.

We started taking our vehicles there on my father's recommendation. Never been happier dealing with an automotive shop. Me and my children all use them now. Service is great, prices are great, they never do more than asked or will give you a call if something pops up that needs to be addressed. Seems to just to be a good old honest mechanics shop would highly recommend them

My husband and I have been using Ardrossan Automotive (Don) for years! He is so honest and in our opinion doesn't charge enough for the work he does on our vehicles. I was blown away with Don's suggestion to fix my car was a $10 fix. He said try this first & see if it makes a difference before we start getting in to more complex and costly fixes. Who does that!!!??? Not too many mechanics I know! They most often start with the most costly fix and go from there. He is accurate with his estimates for cost and the time it will take him to complete it. Plus he always has a smile for you!There are only 2 negative comments I can make. The first one is that he isn't equipped to work on large trucks. So sadly we have to take our F350 into North Tech Auto (which is equally amazing) rather than to Don. The only other thing is that he is in Ardrossan, which sucks in some ways because I can't walk to a mall or coffee shop while I wait for my vehicle. So arrangements need to be made to leave the vehicle. However, these are very small gripes and I think that if he was in a big town, he would be so busy (more than he is now) you would never get your car in to see him.Ardrossan Automotive is worth the drive and Don has always done right by us and he will for you too, regardless of whether he knows you or not! He is the best!

Don is a great mechanic and tells you the truth about what youvreally need fixed and not a laundry list of items like a dealership
