This should be a drive thru clinic. The doctor has about 5 minutes to spend with you after weeks/months of waiting for an appointment. Spends most of his time speaking over/interrupting you or being outright rude , shuttling you out the door. Has no idea of your history , you always need explain everything again , there goes half your time. Didn't always used to be this way. But hey , he has 5 mins to bill health care a full visit". Would you like fries with that ? Do yourself a favor

Dr. Houghton is a great family physician. He listens, is caring and thorough. As a woman I was nervous about having a male doctor but I am extremely comfortable with Dr. Houghton.

Good evening:)Happy Tuesday!!I been going to Gracemed Clinic for 8 years and been a Pt of Dr Houghton, this clinic is truly amazing, and it starts from reception, the front desk always calm and super pleasant, such a welcoming voice when your not feeling well. Dr Houghton is a great Dr, he talks to you like you went to high school together and are old friends.Iam so grateful to be a Pt at this clinic, and I just wanted to say thank you for the years of looking after myself and Nanaimo.

Good luck trying to book an appointment. You call, you don't get a human and they tell you to leave a message. Well I left 3 messages idc if they tell you to leave one. I have now waited a week and a half and have got no phone calls. Forcing myself to go to the walk in clinic at port place mall. I'm hoping to find a new clinic because this is bs. Thanks for nothing please don't go here!

Dr Houghton had been my GP for years, he has helped me thru alot of issues and has always been great. Because of COVID, the way he operates his practice has changed. But he has always offered me great care.

don't waste your time with this doctor he doesn't listen to you and when I ask him to listen he replies don't tell me to listen to you your better off with no doctor

never answer the phone waits are always super long. Doctors rush you out after waiting up to an hour. Phones are only answered 9-12 and 2-4 .. if they feel like it.
