***REMEMBER TO COUNT YOUR ITEMS BEFORE GETTING TO CASH***Went to quick pick today and this the second time that they didn’t count the items properly. So I went to cash, got checked out, and they rung me up for 21 items instead of 20. The receipt had 1 item for $, and then 20x$. When I told them about it, they were like it was for the bag, which made no sense because we brought our own plastic bag for the stuff. I explained that to her and she said, “no bag, I didn’t charge you for bag” and she stared at me blankly and then proceeded to say, “oh it’s the tax”. The HST is clearly written at the bottom not as an itemized item. She then suggested we pick out another items, we said we just wanted cash back. She only gave us the price of the item and did not refund us the tax that was charge on the receipt. This is a second time this happens, the first guy a few weeks back gave us back money+tax after we told him.It’s not much money but it really speaks on the integrity of the business when you have employees who cannot manage the cash properly, understand a basic receipt, nor count at a kindergarten level.***Please for whoever is buying here, please check your receipt and always count your items before coming to the counter to check out***

I wish I knew about this store sooner! It was so worth it. We found many items we needed for cheap , store was clean staff were friendly. This is just our new favorite store

Disappointed by this location. They charge $5.99 for clothing, phone cases and jewelry even when the price of the day is $2.99. Not sure what is the point of this - phone cases are sold full price around $10-$15 so with that said I wouldn’t bother going through all the garbage in the bin for a $5.99 phone case.

Many valuable items found at this store, i bought a 43 TV for 26$!! quality coffee makers

This one is by far the worst in Ottawa. I decided to give this Quick Pick a chance and just like the other one I went to everything was either dirty, missing pieces, used, and/or broken. Even their debit machine there was broken. I did see a couple of items that were interesting but according to the cashier they weren't for sale even though they were on display behind the counter. Customer service was ridiculous. You're better off going to Value Village than going here at least VV stuff is clean. Save yourself the trouble, and avoid this place the ads you see for this place are extremely misleading. You will not see anything brand new.

Store in general is kind of stark. Sparsely decorated with rather rudimentary bins made out of wood. There was a small hanging rack for clothes. The whole store is dark and dreary. The merchandise is awful. Mostly a ton of empty boxes with bits and pieces of the items. Most things are completely out of their packaging. Honestly not worth the trip the day I went. But maybe other days are better.

Today, the price is Friday $0.99, at 1:55pm I got to phone cases but the man who’s in the store charged the price for the phone cases and he said $5.99. I think the worst branch in Ottawa that I see.

You can usually find a lot of great stuff if you have the patience to sift through all the garbage and broken items. The only downfall I'm finding lately is that this location seems to change up their pricing whenever they see fit. It may be the 10$,5$,$3,1$ day, but then they will decide all these items are not included and other bins are not included. So it's not really every item is priced at a certain amount every day, if they are changing the rules weekly and sometimes daily

It's definitely a mess. Be prepared to do a lot of digging. Items are pretty much strewn about. I got some decent deals on a Saturday. $230 flashlight for $25.
