Visual Arts Centre of Clarington
Just got back with my 7/8 class from a great day at the VAC that saw us tour an exhibit, work on our charcoal skills and create our own pottery. I'd highly recommend it for families and teachers alike. Thanks for a great day!

There camps are very fun. There's pottery and art and they keep kids entrtianed and take care of them. Great camp!!!!

We went to a festival for children called Picaso in the park. Great art center with a huge property over looking the river. Paint outside, great for all ages. They have washroom inside and offer classes for youth

Great place to see some local artists exhibit their work. The space is gorgeous and in a beautiful old building!I found the gallery itself to be small in size and in terms of the amount of work that it displays.Overall great experience though!

Just had the opportunity to visit the Clarington Art Festival. Such amazing artists sharing their artistic works. Was able to see the works of Brigette Granton's. Absolutely amazing. You never appreciate the art of people until you see it up close and personal. Thanks to all that took their time to present their art. I only wish the festival was promoted more. I feel there could have been more people visiting if there was signage throughout Bowmanville and the surrounding streets.

Really cool old Barley Mill on a pretty property on the Bowmanville creek. Converted to an art gallery where they have kept much of the original structure inside. Also has pottery and art classes in interesting surroundings.

Beautiful place to sit and relax. Great to enjoy a peaceful flowing stream and some amazing art on the wall.

Had amazing time during Picasso's picnic during the summer time. Very beautiful and serene place to sit and enjoy creekside property.
