William Osler Health System - Withdrawal Management Centre

This place is horrible. Words cannot comprehend how I felt after entered the building. They were extremely unhelpful and I couldn’t help myself I just burst into tears. Also extremely racist but I’d rather not get into the details. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

This place deserves 5 stars - they have helped my dad many times and he raves about how helpful the staff and others are in this facility. I appreciate everything you guys do - thank you.

Agree with most of the reviews on Google. Terrible, rude staff. Called in for intake, told to get prescriptions for taper meds (easier said than done - and not needed) Spent 6 hours at Emerg to try to get these prescriptions. Once they were secured and faxed over as per their instructions, called to see about bed availability. They'd lost my son's intake file and had to start all over again. Then they decided to deny him treatment!! Said he needed medical detox! We pleaded with them and asked why this wasn't mentioned the first time we called for intake. An absolute nightmare experience. Terrible of them to put people who are extremely vulnerable and wanting help through this. 1 star is definitely too much!!

My daughter got turned away and had to beg the cab guy to drive her home. All she had was $10 to her name. She's home and now what??? The hospital sent her there, just to get turned around.

I know this isnt a rehab centre. But the staff were terrible. People coming here are making the first and HARDEST step on their journey. And theu couldnt make it harder on the patients. These people see people come and go, and if youre going through real struggles they will not help you. Go if its your only resource but there has to be better places around. I had to leave. Treatment is awful and you will be looked down upon. Im young and was treating disgracefully in my opinion. Hopefully wont have too, but if i did i would go elsewhere.

It's a good place to get sober. Most the reviews are from homeless people using this place like a shelter. And not wanting to get clean. Some stuff need to be reviewed. As the do not want to be there anymore. But otherwise good place they give u a roof over your head they give you program's to help your self. So good place overall. Just like I said some people use it as a free place.. but if you need help and want it you should go there..... but you need to help yourself frist..........

My son who desperately needed help was turned away twice ...the requirements of admission were not specified and when phoned for confirmation stating that we were turned away once already and didn't want to be turned away again, they had a right and obligation to specify the admission requirements.What a disservice . Shame on you!If you wouldn't help a desperate but a kind soul, what good are you!!

The staff at William Osler withdrawal management are very helpful and kind. They helped me with all the information and paperwork I needed to attend treatment centers and anything else I needed to stay clean. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to get clean. Thank you

I am leaving a review because they deserve a much higher rating. I just discharged and the last week at this place has changed my life. The staff were nothing but kind, patient, compassionate, positive and attentive. I was very scared going in but they took care of all my needs and provided many tools and resources to continue my sobriety. Thank you to the entire staff and looking forward to coming back for your day program!
