Stopped there because first place out of highway, having issues with our trailer. They were on lunch time and helped us like friends.Fixed our problem and were very friendly. Supervisor and staff were very pleasant and helpful.

You have a problem with your Volvo that NOBODY knows how to fix , talk to MKE. He is an afternoon shift manager, and the most helpful guy I have met in my 35 year trucking career. There are sooooo few good mechanics at the dealerships anywhere anymore. And, I am not just taking about Volvo here.I have my own shop and do most of my truck repairs. However, once in a while I just can't get some specific info on a spec or a procedure. It happens seldom, but when I exhaust all my sources of information, and I am still stuck, I call Mike. This guy, without even a second for thinking throws numbers and procedures off the top of his head like some Wikipedia. I am always speechless because by that time in day, I had already called like 4 dealerships, and their guys were clueless or just deflecting the answer with some other muddy complications. I hope this dealership understands that this guy is a pure gold. Simply unreplaceable in this day and age..... If I was 30 years younger, I would offer to work almost for free just to be his apprentice...... Enough said! I hope he is around for a long time .....

I have found Mid Ontario truck centres Barrie to be friendly, helpful and honest. Nick did a really good job to my truck and I'm very thanks full. The sales staff seem to be well trained and able to answer all questions. I do recommend them.

No matter how good your truck is, eventually it will break down and need some TLC. We all know, going to the repair shop is trucker's worst nightmare, however, come to this place and they will get you back on the road faster than any place that I've been in. These guys are fantastic. And I mean fantastic. I came in at 1:30 am with my truck threatening to derate and had suddenly hidden all existence of my full tank of DEF. By 4:30 am I was back on the road.Even if it meant for these fine gentleman staying at work two hours past their closing time. Now that is customer service at it's best.THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP.And I promise next time I will break down earlier in the day.

Our experience with this dealership has been horrible. We signed off on the sale of a truck and body to be installed by Durabody. Three weeks into the build, things constantly change. They couldn't honer the original deck length for a period of time. After a week, suddenly they could honer it again. They were unable to install the tool box we requested on the driver side. Later they were unable to install the toolbox we ordered on the passenger side.Finally the truck is complete. During the quote process, we were given a price for the unit. That price never changed from quote to signing. During the sales process, a day or so after the originial quoted price, the sales rep mentions a cash back incentive for purchase and an additional cash back incentive for financing through Mack Finance. We requested more information on these incentives, but since it was month end, the rep told us to wait until closer to final signing and financing as incentive programs constantly change. A couple weeks leading up to finals on our new truck we reach out a few times to the sales rep and requested the incentive information as its a few months down the road. He reiterates that its still the same and never changed. When we request the final number for our cash back incentive, he starts to tell us its built into the price.How can a dealership quote a price, and minus a large cash back incentive on an invoice but never make note of it? A cash back incentive is exactly that.If you are looking for headaches and dishonest business practices, Barrie Mack is the place to go. I am appalled at how the sales rep conducted his sneaky tactics. The entire experience makes me questions further the extra delays in the build.UPDATEWe were able to speak to Rob the sales manager. After contradicting himself and his sales rep, he began making threats as he is still unable to not only provide a truthful answer to our questions, but he is unable to provide any proof to back up his never ending list of lies.At the end of the day the sales team made a massive mistake, and it is all recored so its very black and white, and rather than step up to the plate and handle their mistake, I have sales manager Rob here giving me excuse after excuse as to why they cant even make a compromise. In weeks the sales rep and his manager have not even responded to e-mails. When you tell so many lies that you're afraid to have anything recorded. Its a sad place to do business with.If you are going to deal with Joe or Rob the sales manager, be prepared to hear more stories than Mr Walt Disney himself could fabricate. Also, if Rob does not get his way, be prepared for this man to start making threats like a 4 year old that couldn't eat all the candy.Rob is making threats as he clearly does not want this matter to go to court. Unfortunately our small family run essential business has to put our customers on hold to show two grown men who are representing Mack Canada that they made a couple mistakes. We will show themthe proper way to rectify the situation, and then get back our lost revenue, legal fees, and extra expenses this will create.Yesterday VIA phone calls it was Rob making threats, and on todays episode, its another round of dodge the facts becasue mack told some lies and cant seem to find the legal documents to support our claims.Come on Rob, you are a very sad excuse for a sales manager. Making threats.Update 2Basic truck price is exactly that, the basic price. Any add ons or deductions are separate from the basic price. We have several e-mails and documents leading up where the incentive was separate to the quoted price. The team at Mack couldnt back up their claims, so they send this over. They added the incentive onto the total and then deducted it later on an invoice not signed by us. This is criminal. Our legal team is in shock that they have made their mistake that clear. Joe and Rob owes us the 6,700.00 incentive. Dura Body gave credits back for their mistake that were never reflected in the invoice either. Thieves! Both of them!

I stopped in yesterday morning thinking a belt was going on my truck. Talked to Nick the shop foreman and he got my truck in right away. They found the problem and had me back on the road in a couple hours. This is the second time in 6 months I have been stopped here. This is by far the best truck dealership I have ever stopped at. They keep you informed all the way through the process. Keep up the amazing work. Kalvin with Alert moving.

Awesome staff, friendly and efficient. Fixed my Mack up quickly when I had a trouble code this morning. Nov. 29/22 once again friendly staff and awesome service repairing my truck. Thanks again crew

The service manager is a con artist, just adds hours to your bill for no reason. Only bring your truck here if it's under warranty! They are a good example of where the word STEALERSHIP came from!
