Nailz 2 U

Had gel nails done (under the pressure of the nail tech who SWORE gel nails were better, and sturdier, even though i specifically had wanted acrylic nails) and they lasted four days. On day four, two of my nails snapped off (painfully). My nails are still currently healing from that, and my visit was in April. Don't let them tell you gel nails are better. This was the first nail place I've tried since moving to Edmonton, and I deeply regret going here.

My regular salon did not have any availability that worked with my schedule this past week, so I decided to try this salon out instead as it has great reviews. However, I’m not overly impressed with the service I received from them. While my nails do look good and I’m happy enough with them, the lady who did my nails was incredibly rough with my hands, to the point where she cut my finger with the nail file along my nail bed, and drew blood, which is quite painful. This wouldn’t have been such a big deal had she apologized for it, but she didn’t say anything when it happened or when I flinched every time she went near the finger/nail after that, and continued to be quite rough with me throughout the service causing several other small nicks (that did not bleed). I don’t want to judge too harshly, as I’m unsure if she was just having a bad day, or if she was rushing to get out of the salon as it was near closing, but I’d be quite hesitant to return after that experience.

My wife visits here regularly for a manicure and pedicure, and she says they do an amazing job. Highly recommend it.

Seeing the raving reviews, I booked an appointment to get my nails done. Very disappointed, my five year old niece could've done better!

Lovely Salon ! I came in with nasty, grown out nails & Vivian was such an Angel ! She gave me the cutest new set, checked in with me throughout the whole process to make sure I was happy with the nails & she was so kind and funny. 10/10 recommend & will be returning !

Just another establishment who does not know how to colour match for people of colour. Nude is trending and it’s crazy to me that you cannot cater to the needs of people with darker skin tones. They expect you to come in and pick the colour yourself. Like I’m not the nail technician . I don’t know which version of acrylic power will look good on my skin tone. That’s something every nail tech should be trained in. And I’m tired of going from shop to shop and being met with the same issues as a black girl.

Super cute spot with prompt service.They were ready for my appointment and Jade was kind. She was willing to accommodate my fidgeting with no complaining. Lots of selection too.Would highly recommend
