Beyond the Proposal Wedding Planning

Our wedding was originally planned for May 2020, however, little did we know that 2020 had its own plans. Christy from Beyond the Proposal was amazing and I cannot recommend her enough!! From our original meeting and planning in 2019, she was organized, helpful, insightful, and pleasant to work with. Then in March 2020 just 2 months away from our original wedding date, COVID shut everything down and Christy was immediately there for us. She reorganized everything, offered a shoulder to cry on and was an overall amazing support system.Our new date was fast approaching in June 2021 and things again didn’t look too bright. Christy again was right there for us again organizing, planning, rescheduling, offering her expertise and helping us with so many things we would have never even thought of to make our day special. Christy MADE our wedding happen and without her it wouldn’t have been the beautiful perfect day it was. Christy not only helped with 100% of the wedding details but she went above and beyond, always making sure we were feeling good and always made sure we were happy.Christy is a personable, hardworking, and beautiful person that cares so much for the happiness of the couple she’s planning for. I will never hesitate to recommend Beyond the Proposal to anyone. Christy helped me plan and execute the perfect proposal for my now fiancé. She helped secure and decorate a beautiful private room for dinner and coordinated with the staff and a photographer to execute a surprise proposal to perfection. Couldn't have done it without her, highly recommend.

Beyond the proposal was hands down the best money we spent on our wedding. Christy is such a pleasure to work with. She is very responsive, answering texts and emails at all hours of the day seven days a week. She has amazing vendor recommendations and an incredible attention to detail. Both sets of parents were skeptical when we told them we were hiring a day of coordinator (not as common back when they got married and they didn’t see it as a “worth it” expense) but on our wedding day they told us that they were glad we didn’t listen haha because it was worth every penny and the day would not have been the same without the BTP team. They offer a wide variety of packages that are very reasonably priced compared to other companies and went above and beyond to make our wedding day as stress free for us as possible. My husband and I as well as our families were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that Christy and her team were on top of it - I cannot recommend them enough!!

Christy did such an amazing job helping plan and setup for our big day. We had the Blissful Beginnings" package with decor setup and takedown. Christy was incredibly helpful in the weeks and months before the wedding providing suggestions for vendors

First of all, if you are debating on hiring a wedding planner for your big day.... please do it!! It is well worth the investment to have someone curate how you want the day to feel and look. I have a very busy job and at the end of a long work day, planning was the last thing I wanted to do. Christy took the stress out of it and made it a much more enjoyable experience.Christy was amazing to work with. I can not thank her enough for the countless hours she spent working on design, colors, themes (like seriously everything). Especially planning a wedding during a global pandemic it was such a relief to have someone keep you updated on new restrictions and change of plans. She was calm, understanding and a great listener to my worries and ideas. In addition, it was very easy to get a hold of her. She made time in her day to get back to questions/concerns/ comments ASAP.The big day went so smoothly and was everything my husband and I wanted. We still hear our friends and family commenting on how beautiful the wedding was. Thank you again Christy for your amazing work! <3

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Christy and her team several times now and she is amazing! She was 100% on top of everything from before the wedding. Her timeline was on point, she was incredibly helpful on the wedding day not only to us photographers but especially to the bride and groom. Anything they needed, she had it done in seconds, not only that, she anticipated their needs and delivered. She managed the day extremely well and everything went off without any issues because of her attention to detail. Christy is incredibly good at her job and I highly recommend her! Christy and her team at Beyond the Proposal are amazing! Christy started planning my wedding about 14 months in advance and every single detail was perfect. I did a mostly hands off approach due to the fact that I don't have one creative bone in my body, Christy made my wedding ceremony and reception so beautiful it is Pinterest-worthy. Christy also helped me find a florist, makeup artist, bakery for cake and sweets table, videographer and photographer. She literally took care of everything and every detail including my invitations. I can't recommend them enough!

We had the pleasure of working with Christy for our destination wedding this September. As a couple planning a wedding from the US during COVID, we relied so heavily on the help and guidance from Christy. Working with her truly was the best decision we made. Not only is Christy lovely- but she is reliable, timely, patient, and talented. She understood our vision for the day, and completely exceeded our expectations when she brought it to life. My husband and I feel very fortunate that we lucked out and chose Beyond the Proposal and Christy for our wedding day coordinator. She was great to interact with and when we were initially planning our 150 person wedding, was excellent for sourcing decor and bouncing my questions off of. When COVID happened and we downsized our wedding to 12 people Christy was very understanding and supportive and provided suggestions for how to best go about restructuring our day. Beyond the Proposal still provided the day of coordinating even though the size of our party was much smaller than anticipated and it made for the most relaxing and enjoyable day! We had communicated quite a bit beforehand so she knew exactly how I envisioned the decor set up and she helped finalize timing for the afternoon/evening. Christy allowed us and our guests to be entirely present on the day without worrying about details that would otherwise have been distracting and taken away from the joy we both felt. I would highly recommend Beyond the Proposal!!
