St. Mary Church

Went to Xmas eve service. 2 out of 3 pews zoned off. Probably about 35 people, including the clergy there. Masks worn at all times, except when lifted to consume the Communion wafer back at your pew. People spaced at least six feet apart. Clergy and Wardens very friendly.

My husband and I have been attending st marys for about a year now while still attending another local church. The peace and times of silent contemplation has been both healing as well as nourishing for us as we lead busy lives. The peace of God is present during the service especially during the collective recitation of the Apostles creed! To hear the congregation say this important proclamation of the orthodox Christian faith together is very moving as well as edifying. We have been blessed by getting to know Lon the priest who has a deep pastoral heart. He takes the time to get to know folks and to be served communion by someone who attempts to remember and use your name touches my heart.
