This winter has been one of ups and downs with weather extremes from deep freezes to thaws. During one of the recent thaws we noticed some water coming in the back foundation wall in the furnace room. Unsure what to we decided we needed to research the issue more. The more we researched the more confused we got. It became clear we needed to get it fixed sooner than later. So I went on the better business bureau and looked for companies that repaired foundation leaks.We noticed that Bol Dan had a high bbb rating A+ and had been in business for over 28 years. We called them and I’m sure when we left the message we were frantic. They called back promptly and came to access the leak the same day. We were told we needed to remove some drywall and two by fours and call back. We did and 3 days later they came to fix the leak. Geatin came and fixed the leak. He was quite calm and knowledgeable and was very skilled which was quite apparent when I watched him work. I am quite certain that if he didn’t come in and fix the leak when he did we would have sustained damage.Here is what I learned from this whole ordeal. Water once it finds its way into your house through a crack will only get worse don’t wait get it fixed asap. You need to find a company you can trust and one that has experience doing these types of repairs. I would recommend Bol Dan and have to a number of friends and family members who have had similar issues. The service they provided to me and my family was worth every penny.

We did the normal due diligence in getting three opinions/quotes to have our 1950’s cinderblock foundation redone. Prices were all over the map and information varied widely with the exception being Gaetan from Bol-Dan. Gaetan was extremely quick at getting back to us, knowledgeable as to what would need to be done and was upfront with what we could expect. He provided us with a very reasonable quote, outlining the work to be completed.We proceeded with the work in Spring 2022. Gaetan communicated with us in March of that year as to the schedule depending on the Spring thaw, providing us with an estimated date. He followed-up with us as the date approached, keeping us in the loop with any developments. When the agreed upon date arrived, Gaetan and his crew were here on time. They communicated with us throughout the project and kept the site clean. Gaetan’s communication is amazing, and we never had trouble getting a hold of him for any questions and he made himself available onsite throughout our project.We’ve had several heavy rains and now a really good winter thaw. In the past, I would be in the basement mopping up all the water that made its way into our basement. Since Gaetan and his crew completed their work, our basement has been bone dry.We’ve worked with many contractors, and I wouldn’t hesitate to refer Gaetan to anyone looking to have their foundation done. Communication is superb, the price is very competitive, and the work is excellent!

Gaetan and his crew waterproofed the back of my house, did a side window well that also had a crack in the area, and installed a sump pit and pump in July 2019. I am very happy with the work that was done. The crew worked very hard and did a great job. I can tell that they take pride in their work and sincerely want to help solve the problems. They left the area very neat and tidy. They even washed a window and siding where mud had splattered onto it. The price was also very reasonable and I felt that Gaetan gave me a cost effective solution and did not try to upsell me. Gaetan and his crew are honest, hard-working, and knowledgeable about their work. I highly recommend anyone with basement water issues to consider Bol-Dan.

Very happy with the work that the Bol-Dan team did to fix our foundation. Fair pricing and great work. I particularly loved how much clean-up they did at the end to make my yard look good. He even came back and helped fix the pathway to the front door. I highly recommend.

Hired Bol-Dan to fix six cracks on the outside of our house. Their team did an excellent job, for a very reasonable price, and did a really good job cleaning up the site afterwards.

Had two cracks in our foundation which they fixed via injections from the inside (winter). Came very quickly to provide an estimate. Responded immediately to texts and emails.On the day of the job, another employee came to repair the foundation, but Gaetan (the owner who did the estimate) came by to check in, which we appreciated.

We are happy with the Bol-Dan team's work last May to fix our foundation. They cleaned up after themselves and will be in October, ensuring that the ground is settled correctly. May 6 2020 , Bol-Dan provided excellent service with the grandma’s home in Alta Vista. 3 days of work waterproofing 1/2 her foundation enables her to stay in her home for several more years. Thanks for the good work and reasonable price.
