I don't know the same of the young woman with the English last name.. Adams? (very thin, dark hair, glasses), but she gave us a tour and was incredibly kind and friendly. Very sweet girl who gave us an incredible visit. Thank you!

It looked very nice from outside we wish we could check out the inside but it was closed. We visited in August weekend.

We visited the museum while exploring some of my wife's Acadian past. The girls giving tours were sweet and very knowledgeable. Well worth a visit to learn about the history of the Acadians in this part of Nova Scotia.

The museum staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They have resources that I have found no place else and I have traveled widely in my Acadian research.They have genealogical resources and publications in both French and English, periodicals, texts, donated family histories that focus primarily on the Acadians of this region but also reach back beyond to the ancestors of these peoples in Port Royal, Minas Basin, Grand Pre and elsewhere as well.This is a wonderful gem with delightful staff in a tidy and pleasant building.I highly recommend it and plan to come back for a much more extended research trip.

Well kept museum of the oldest Acadien settlement. Nice to find the people still speaking french there. Bonne continuation!

Fascinating history of Acadians with interesting local anecdotes from staff. A research library upstairs if you have Acadian ancestors though best to book ahead to research, or take your chance! Well worth the visit. Cute gift shop, too

We decided on a whim to drop in and are so glad we did! Very cool museum and the staff are all incredibly warm and knowledgeable. Even got to taste a bunch of fresh fruits and vegetables. Highly recommend to anyone!

Great place to research your Acadian family roots, as they have a genealogy database. Very knowledgeable and friendly tour and gift shop staff. Unique Acadian history books...and hand-made crafts and quilts.
