I was able to get everything on my list, plus some. Great selection of things and their sale table was pretty good as well. All and all I had a great experience and will be returning!

WOW - what a service? Come up to the counter, the guy by the register is talking to a couple, and I am waiting. He does not even pay attention to me standing with the purchase in front of him, busy talking, and it would not be a problem if he said something like - I'll be right with you or anything in that matter. In about a min or 2 another one comes up and asks if I have been served yet? When I made a remarking about the other one not paying attention to me waiting to get served, I was told he was finishing up with a customer - talking perhaps? When I asked for the store manager, the one who did not pay attention to me said that its him. When, I asked about the owner, he said, I am the owner. Then the one how served me, ironically smiled. Very, very ignorant. Perhaps, she is the vice manager? If you want to buy something at HH go to the other once, where the nice people work. WOW, what a service?

I find the owners are not able to deal with customers in a cultured manner. Whether they make a mistake or the customer makes a mistake. It's always the customers fault and they always let the customer know it. I have decided to never patronize this Home Hardware again. It is not worth the frustration.

Quick helpful service. Allows dog on leash in store so that they are not left out in the car in the summer heat.

Being a bit more accustomed to the service offered at the Petrolia Home Hardware (and the odd drop in on Russell Street I believe it is), I did anticipate similar since Home Hardware is generally known to offer more personalized, small town feel service which, for the most part for me, outweighs higher pricing.To be honest, I was very disappointed in the service received on a number of occasions by different staff. Living very close to this location, it is obviously more convenient but after three experiences, one being average/fine, two being unhelpful and bordering on rude and quite disinterested, both by the same employee, I do not plan on going back.Again being so close, it it unfortunate to me but I do hope owners read these reviews and improvements are made; my only reason ever really for leaving negative but honest reviews.

I only go here if it's an absolute necessity as I live near by. Everytime I go in this location, the staff is eager to get you out of store. If you purchase a large item they never ever offer to help you. I should have went a few miles up the road to one of the other 2 locations!

The hardware store that has the small-town feel where you're treated more like your family or a friend not just the customer!The staff at this location shows exemplary customer service!

Always A1 service at this location!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. If they don't have it in the store they get it in for me!!
