Royal Hardwood Floors

Over the past several years, I have utilized Royal Hardwood Floors. I ordered the replacement or refinishing of four of my flats. Then I had them put in 1,600 square feet of brand-new hardwood in my house. They completely matched the color of the pre-existing hardwood, and the workmanship and price are also excellent. In addition to getting plenty of compliments on my floors, the work done in my home certainly enhanced the value of the property more than what it cost. For my wants about hardwood floors, I will keep using this business.

I recently had my floors sanded and refinished at 1100 sq ft. Royal Hardwood Floors did a wonderful job, they were on time, got the job done on the promised date and the cost was so much cheaper than their competitors. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who needs the job done fast and efficiently at a low cost.

We bought a new home and pulled up the carpets to reveal oak hardwood. The wood was in good shape but had some paint and scratches. Also, there was about 250 sq ft that was just a subfloor with no hardwood. Called Royal Hardwood Floors based on a recommendation. Showed up early for an estimate and asked a lot of questions about what we wanted for floor direction, transition pieces, and so on. They were the cheapest of the 3 estimates we received but don't let that fool you as far as their quality. On the first day, they installed the new hardwood over the 250 sq ft patch. They also sanded a small patch of the existing hardwood. They had me come over and pick a stain where they had laid out 5 stains in a nice area exposed to the sunlight. They then finished the sanding, stain, and 3 coats of poly a few days later. The floors looked new and the new hardwood matched the original hardwood perfectly. They cleaned up exceptionally well with no sign they had sanded the entire house. I would highly recommend it.

When a friend took ownership of a house that was built in 1923, the hardwood floors in the house has seen better days. They were really in sad condition. When the Royal Hardwood Floors estimator came out for an estimate, he pointed out a couple of areas that were poorly repaired previously and recommended they be replaced as the 'pattern' was so badly mismatched and would be highlighted after the floors were refinished. This was good advice.The crew that did the actual sanding did an excellent job. They were in and out in one day without any damage to the adjacent walls or baseboards. After sanding the floors, they applied the first coating of polyurethane. The next day, Technicians came out and buffed and applied the second coating of polyurethane. The third coating was applied to them also. I took the time to watch them do their magic. I was truly impressed with their skills in applying the coating! It was like poetry in motion. The living room, dining room, hallway, and two-bedroom floors are now as beautiful as the day they were originally laid, they are singing now! I would highly recommend their service to all my friends.

Royal Hardwood Floors did an amazing job sanding and staining floors in my home. I have not used Royal Hardwood Floors before and it came through another company that was referred to me. I was a little nervous not using a company that I or someone I know had used before. I was so glad that I went ahead with hiring the team as they were fantastic! I had no problem booking them quickly. The cost was a great value. They arrived on time and were professional. The house was clean with no dust or debris left behind. The floors looked incredible. I would not hesitate to use them again and refer Royal Hardwood floors to others.

We purchased a new home and Royal Hardwood did an amazing job removing old flooring and installing new laminate throughout the main floor. Jean gave us a fair price and was able to ensure the job would be done within 3 days. He was quick to communicate and his team did a fantastic job with everything. They showed up on time even during a snowstorm and they were awesome to work with. I would highly recommend Royal Hardwood Flooring!Prior to our move, we also used Royal Hardwood Floors to fix a few things in our home prior to selling. Jean did an amazing job fixing a damaged hardwood stair corner (chewed by our puppy!) and did a great job installing hardwood floors in a hallway that was previously laminate. Pricing and execution speed cannot be matched! Thanks again, Jean! We will definitely be using Royal Hardwood for any future flooring needs.

We used Royal Hardwood Floors to refinish the cabinets in our kitchen. The technicians Team did an amazing job. Expectations were managed well throughout. They carefully explained the process and provided samples with our materials to facilitate the final selection. We also worked with an outside company to help modify some of our existing cabinetry. There was great coordination between the two teams to ensure things moved smoothly between steps. I would recommend the Royal Hardwood Floors tech team without reservation and would plan to use them again without hesitation.

Royal hardwood floors has done a wonderful job in my house. They have a great team and communication with Jean was good and efficient. Their estimate was very good and reasonable.Finally the work was done in a timely manner as scheduled. I highly recommend this company.

Jean is a charismatic owner with good knowledge but little ethics. I PAID him and his 2 young men crew $2k cash to sand oak stairs (13 steps) and patch paint risers. The whole job done in less than 5 hrs was nothing more than an amateur work. Unfinished, unprofessional.His team did not sand the treads properly (rough treads, little patching) failed to fill the cracks in the risers (just painted over!!)He even told me to sand after his work and add varnish!When I called him to return and finish the job properly, he first claimed he will come back on new years, then later made an excuse too busy".I would not trust this company nor owner. Jean uses his charm and confidence to perform a sloppy work."
