Cozy place, front desk ladies are super nice

This is a university dorm (remember those days?) that lets out rooms in summer.I lived here for about 2.5 weeks during the rainy summer of 2016. Not bad for $50/night..(.$100/night if u wanna totally private living space.). I'd take the chance of sharing a kitchenette with up to 3 others for half the dough (I had the entire place to myself anyway) 4 BR suites with common living area. Spartan -like a dorm. (Remember?)Somewhat confusing card-operated laundry downstairs, and weird building design with stairs on the periphery and elevators in the centre. Take the stairs. Good place to crash, and maybe do a little reading.

Wish that you could get to laundry without getting wet, if you live in any building than building B

I've stayed at a few on campus hotels, but MRU was by far the best experience! My partner and I were looking for an affordable hotel close to Grey Eagle Casino for a concert and stumbled upon MRU. The room was comfortable, nicely furnished, and had all the little things one might need (ie. cups, coffee, soap, shampoo, etc.) that you don't normally get when staying at a budget friendly on campus hotel. The front desk staff were so kind, and the price was over 50% less than if we stayed at Grey Eagle! If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely be back!

I never write reviews but I want to warn future students about how horrible this place is. Everything is broken! Maintenance drives around in circles in a golf cart when serious issues happen, instead of being helpful. There was over 1000 problems with my stay here (bug infestations, floods, the list goes on…) one example being when my sink broke and they put duct tape over the hole instead of trying to fix it! How is that any way to live? The receptionist was absolutely so rude to me and treated me horribly even after staying there for years. I’ll never forget or forgive how horribly she treated me, is an understatement.Not to mention the price of rent, I strongly recommend future students to checkout boardwalk or apartments nearby instead for half the price and for quality.

The hotel room was satisfactory. The weather was really hot while I was there. I was surprised there was no air-conditioning. It was uncomfortable for that reason.Had I known I would not have booked. I suggest staying any season but not summer when sweltering hot.

living here was terrible for the fall 2020 semester as well as the winter 2021 semester. Charge unnecessary fees, many of the staff are rude and on campus security have no respect for the students living here, they will enter your house whenever they please. carpeting in town houses is old and gross

Unbeatable price for summer accommodations.Don't expect full hotel style service if you're not staying in one of the two dedicated hotel rooms (which cost almost twice as much as the residence style rooms) but you'll get a full kitchen, fridge and freezer, and a lot more space than a typical hotel room.

Easy resident could really use a facelift inside and out.

Charged me many unnecessary fees. Staff was very rude and not understanding when my bank had troubles processing my payment for residence fees. After months of emailing the head of residences, I was finally able to get the fees waived.
