Worst customer service experience ever. I reached out to Gala boats over a week ago. I was advised to email Andre the details of what we are looking for. No response. Rude phone call ending with stay in touch". Seriously?? I shouldn't have to chase you down to give you business. Clearly us wanting to buy a boat and spend the money to have it shipped was clearly of no interest to him."

Quality RIBs at a reasonable price. My last Zodiac RIB of new design did not perform too well. Time to upgrade and Grand aluminum RIB is my first choice.

This past Fall I wrapped up my 2nd season with my Ukraine-built GALA C380 CHALLENGER inflatable canoe.After dealing with rooftop canoes for many years, being able to load my boat and motor into the boot of my little Subaru Impreza is a real treat. Upon arrival at a site it takes me about 20 minutes to unload, inflate the boat, install the motor, load my gear and be on my way. Inflation time is sped up by using a $30 Ryobi portable inflator and then topping it up with the included foot pump.I just completed my end-of-season cleaning including a thorough wash and vacuum. I truly believe keeping the boat clean and grit-fee will add years to its usable life. While the boat is constructed using the quality German-made VALMEX PVC, it is not impervious to tiny punctures and general wear and tear. This is something I found out in my early days when a small shoreline nail or piece of wire punctured the bottom. Thankfully, it only happened once and GALA includes a good repair kit which helped make the repair fast and easy.In summary I've been very impressed with my GALA inflatable and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another. They are well made boats using quality materials. I typically use it once per week from April to October and have covered hundreds of miles over 25-30 trips. The ground is snow-covered now but I can't wait to get my GALA inflatable back on the water again.
