Spaded

I recently got my first tattoo at Spaded, they made the whole process so easy and the work was out of this world. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

Very responsive, kind, professional. Helped me out in a pinch and I feel very grateful. Love the artwork, stop in and check out their retail.

The couple that run Spaded in Almonte are friendly folks and James is good at his art, but I found the visit to take far longer than expected that I was experiencing anxiety about it and twice the price that I expected to pay (which almost made me want to faint more than the tattoo experience itself). I guess I should have asked more questions but when I asked if I should have a consultation they didn't think it was necessary.I don't think I could ever afford to go back especially when there are so many other tattoo salons to choose from that aren't near as pricey and just as good.I would rate 1-10Artistic ability-7Friendliness-9Shop appeal /cleanliness-6Value-3

Got my 10 year olds ear pierced and it was a great experience from beginning to end. Felt welcome the whole time. My daughter was comfortable and put at ease. The equipment and area is very clean. Highly recommend Spaded for piercings :) The artwork is very nice as well.

I do not recommend ear piercings for children or maybe even for adults at this establishment. I'm generally a very understanding person, but I am hoping this review with save another mother from having this horrible experience happen to them. Trying to use a small business in a small town didn't pay off. I should have went to a big corporation business, who probably put more care into this very important event than this establishment.To begin the piercing gun malfunctioned while piercing my child's ear.Piercing was placed very high on the ear almost close to the cartilage of the ear and not the lobe.After reaching back out requesting a refund due to the piercers error. She replied with made-up up policy jargon and excuses why they cannot refund. Pretty close to a scam or lack of business etiquette. As anyone can understand I don't feel comfortable returning my child back to that provider to recify the issue of placement with another peircing done.

Its been awhile since I have gotten a tattoo. But im glad I choose Spaded !! Love my new tattoos and very talented ! Thanks James !! Ill be recommended you to more of my friends!!

James is an incredibly talented artist, not only with tattoos but the shirts he designs and the wall of his studio. He told me while working on an arm piece for me that he was basically born with a pencil in his hand, and it really shows! He took great care with the placement, depth and style of the tattoos done for myself, my girlfriend and our friend. Have had my share of tattoos and was very impressed with this place! On top of that, his wife Stephanie is awesome! She's hospitable and friendly, and just a general pleasure to be around and chat with. 100% recommend this family run studio!
