Their hours are not the ones that they say. They are only open Mondays and Thursdays. Wish we would have known that before we drove 4 hrs.

I have one fantastic piece I recently inherited from my mother. She bought it in Calgary, Alberta in 1966, and it still looks and performs beautifully. I know she had other pieces, but we can’t find them. Every time I cook with it today, I remember those early days as an immigrant in Calgary. (Father’s career as a chemical engineer brought us to Canada from the Philippines.) Mom cooked with this special pot just about every day—homemade Filipino dishes. It was the only one she owned for a long time.
