Brittny helped me to move in the apartment just in a couple of days. Communication was fantastic. Brittny is very professional property manager.

Genuinely wanted to like this place, and did until the move out. (Minus the wasps at the front door, the constant smell of dog pee in the stair wells, and the predator who lived in my building.) Company kept the pet deposit, damage deposit, and is trying to charge us an additional almost $400. I take care of my apartment and there were absolutely no reasonable damages that would be anywhere close to this. They sent us the bill weeks after moving out without any explanation or justification as to why. Company is only good to people while they are actively taking your money

It took three weeks to attempt to get rid of the gagging smell in the staircase. The hired snow removal company had piled snow in front of some of the vehicles so when asking the management for their contact information to request for them to remove that snow they wouldn’t supply it and claimed it was the tenants responsibility to remove. I would never expect our elderly tenants to have to remove that snow piled like that. It was so high that it would have damaged most vehicles including my pickup. Ridiculous rules and rental increases of now $400 a month. Stay away and avoid the anxiety, frustration and carelessness of this place. I’d be concerned with any of Broadstreet properties after dealing with them and how they treated so many friends that were made there. You’re paying high prices for a slumlord in the making.

Having moved back to Alberta in April, I wanted to get an apartment before I moved to Red Deer. Dealing with Brittny and Broadstreet has been a pleasure. Brittny reached out to me about vacancies at Vanier Heights. She was very patient and efficient with the application process and moving in process, always happily and willing to answer any questions I had regarding the building and area. It was definitely the easiest time I had moving into an apartment. The building and grounds are kept clean and very well maintained. The neighbors are very friendly, and so are the pets! The building is a short walking distance from the conveniences that one would need. Overall I am happy that I moved into Broadstreet.

I moved here from another province and had some legal documents I needed to scan and fax. Brittny was very helpful. I have found the staff to be very friendly. Which is nice when you move to a new area and don’t know a lot of people.

Vanier Heights is an exceptional place to call home, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable living environment. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make residents feel at home, and their dedication to providing excellent service is unparalleled.During my two and a half years at Vanier Heights, I was consistently impressed by the level of attention and care shown to residents by the building manager, Brittny. She was always welcoming, easy to work with, and had a knack for quickly resolving any concerns or issues that arose.It's a testament to the hard work of the staff, including Brittny, who consistently strive to make it a comfortable and inviting place to call home. I highly recommend Vanier Heights to anyone looking for a place to settle down and create lasting memories.

They were so helpful & friendly.They answered all my questions.Moving day went smoothly because of the booking of the elevator for us, which made such a difference.My apartment is a beautiful open concept main area, with a dishwasher, & a very roomy bathroom.The 2 bedrooms are comfortable sizes & 2 storage areas, including one with a washer & dryer.The whole suite is walker & wheelchair accessible, which is a wonderful feature as I do use a walker sometimes.I would definitely recommend moving into Vanier Heights.

I have lived in this building since it opened in 2014. In the beginning it was well maintained and it still is pretty good, but it isn't for long-term residents.More and more, new residents seem to have previously lived in a barn. Quite frequently both the outer lobby door and the inner security door are left wide open, even when it's 30⁰ below zero outdoors. This also defeats building security because anyone can just walk in.Then there's the elevator. On average it's broken for half a day every other week. Once it was broken for 2 straight weeks when it needed a part from Germany.Finally, painting. We have been here since 2014 and asked for them to repaint, since we're not permitted to paint ourselves or hire a contractor. We offered to move all breakables into the bedrooms so they could paint the kitchen, living room and hallway while we were away on vacation. They refused. Seems the only way our apartment is getting painted is when we leave.I would like to clarify part of this review. I wish to make it clear that the on-site staff are not responsible for any of the deficiencies I have noted. They work hard to keep the building up to snuff.Lately, one of my concerns has been addressed. Staff have removed the fold-down legs from the doors, improving building security. The doors can no longer be left open for anyone to get in.

I have lived in Building A" at the Vanier Heights location for nearly four years. The only reason I will unfortunately be leaving is because of a new job in a different province. My time at Vanier Heights has really been a fantastic experience. My two bedroom unit is fitted with all major appliances and is very spacious. I have a storage room at the end of my hallway. Very handy to hide that fake Christmas tree and Rubbermaid bins. Reaction time for maintenance items is extremely fast. You can call the Broadstreet Properties line at any hour to ask questions or to report a maintenance item requiring attention. The property manager is right at the front entrance during typical work week hours. I prefer the face to face interaction provided by Broadstreet which seems to be very hard to find these days. The property is kept very tidy. Every car stall has an electrical outlet for your block heater. I find the rent extremely fair price wise. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for an apartment to rent. Close to all amenities
