Winter Lotus Photography

We could not be happier with Winter Lotus Photography!! Their photos of our wedding day were amazing and we have received tons of compliments on them. I also love their editing style which is bright and beautiful. They are creative, easy-going, and professional. As a photographer myself, I would say they are the best I've seen for their price range in the Calgary Area. Having two photographers was also awesome for covering multiple shots from different angles. I would highly recommend Winter Lotus to anyone!

If I could give 6 stars I would! Ping and Kenny are an absolute joy to work with - you feel like you're just out having fun and they make you feel so at ease. We first booked them for our engagement photos and they totally understood the vibe we were going for. So impressed with how the photos turned out so we also booked them for our wedding! And again, the results were stunning! Cannot recommend them enough and will be sure to book with them again in the future for any of life's big moments.

We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Winter Lotus for our micro wedding. After receiving our beautiful engagement shoot pictures, we knew we were in great hands for the big day. Our wedding day pictures are amazing and we are still in awe of the photographer's talents months later!

Ping and Kenny are just the best! We got married in August at the Silvertip Resort and we have the most stunning photos. My husband does not like having his picture taken but Ping and Kenny made it natural, easy and fun! I recommend Winter Lotus to everyone that asks, and as soon as people see our photos they know why. I cannot say enough good things about Winter Lotus Photography! Ping and Kenny were outstanding. My fiancé and I traveled from NC to Banff and had not met them prior to our shoot. Communication and booking was easy. During the shoot they both made us feel relaxed and comfortable, and the pictures are beautiful. We could not be more satisfied and would definitely use them again!

We had a great time working with Ping and Kenny. They were flexible in setting up an initial face to face with us in town. They took the time to assess our needs and they have a good selection of their portfolio to share with us also. They gave good recommendations on where to shoot our engagement photos. We had fun shooting our engagement photos and they were able to give us pointers on how to pose to make us look good. On our wedding day, it was really cold during our photo shoot but they were so patient and accommodating with us. We got a sneak peek of our wedding photos today and they are beautiful! Looking forward to the rest of them!

We just got married this past weekend, and we are SO impressed by Ping and Kenny as a team. They are so easy to have around and they captured our day beautifully. Despite the cold wind and weather, they did whatever it took to get some really amazing photos. We also did an engagement session with them in the summer which was also so easy going and the pictures turned out perfect. The photographers at Winter Lotus might actually be magical. I mean seriously Harry Potter magical.... Our engagement photo shoot was really fun and produced some amazingly professional photos. The real magic was in the wedding photos... As the groom, I became slightly more intoxicated than I should have, and was thus a less than ideal subject for photography. Kenny and Ping were patient, professional, and had an amazing eye for a great photo. They worked with me in my state and were able to pull off a series of wedding photos for which I will be eternally grateful. I have no idea how they were able to spin gold from my train wreck... but they did and our photos turned out amazingly well. They captured great shots of all the guests for thank you cards, and also gave us some incredible black and whites. I highly recommend Winter Lotus Photography.

Amazing is an understatement of the work that Ping and Kenny did for us. We scheduled with them about 9 months in advance and throughout those months when I needed reassurance, they were so helpful and always ready to answer my questions. I booked them for my 10th year anniversary pictures and the pictures were way more beautiful than I could ever hope for. Ping and Kenny were professional, friendly, and so easy to work with. You basically get two professional photographers for the price of one, trust me, you'll really see the benefit of this once you get your proofs from them. They had excellent suggestions on how to pose and our pictures came out with amazing lighting despite the cloudy day. I cannot thank them enough for making my 10th wedding anniversary the most special day of all!

Ping and Kenny did an AMAZING job capturing our wedding. The pictures turned out way better than I could have ever imagined. We got married in the winter in Canmore and we took a ton of pictures outside in the cold (and wind) near the mountains. They gave great recommendations of where to go and despite the weather, the pictures were phenomenal. They also had a fast turnaround and response time. I would definitely book any other professional photography I need with them and would highly recommend.
