Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Hamilton

Hey guys, here is my own experience with MR ROne day my kitchen sink get clogged and I called other company first and finally I was told I have to knockdown the dry wall which in my basement and I was really disappointed until someone referred me to call Mr rooter.When Mr rooter came the guys name is chad. He is extremely professional, he wear masks uniform and gloves and sanitizer. About one hour later, he solved problems and it’s just amazing! There are no any hidden fee.I really appreciate Mr R and I will definitely refer them to all my friends if they need those service.

I wrote an earlier review but I cannot locate it....Please forgive me if you see two of them.Mr Rooter came twice for two different services and we had the privilege of having Charlie on both occasions. Charlie has a vast knowledge and broke everything down and made things easier to understand. We were given options and were left with zero surprises of how much it would cost. The prices were reasonable. You pay for quality...You get quality! The flat rate approach is nice to have and left us at ease. The prices are reasonable and there is no watching the clock because you are worried about paying the plumber by the hour. Appropriate covid measures were taken. The costumer service department on the phone was efficient and was a pleasure to deal with.The first visit was a secondary water main repair and a water valve repair to a toilet and a new toilet installation.The second repair was a shower faucet and leaking pipe problem. I like how the quote and work order is all sent through via email . I think there are other options. We opted to take the one time fee discount plan. It takes a percentage of the original quote and you get other things but It's best to discuss the details with the folks over at Mr Rooters office. We will be calling them again if we have a problem.

Waking up in the morning to find our main sewer drain backed up was not the way I was expecting to start my day. However Mr. Rooter came through big time! Their representative on the phone was a big help, and sent a plumber out right away. The plumber Chad, was incredible. He came in and fixed the problem and it took him perhaps less than an hour. He was here in and incredibly timely fashion and was polite, straight to the point and was all around just amazing. I can’t thank him enough and wanted to emphasize how incredible he was. Thanks Chad and Mr. rooter for all your help!!

Overall, very pleased with the service.Although the price was a little costly, I fully expected it, engaging such a reputable company. Also, the issue I had ended up not being as serious as I thought, but they were fully prepared to take on what I had to give.The rep- Chad D.- was not only friendly and respective, he was very knowledgeable/professional, and more than willing to answer any questions I had; and did just that.Would highly recommend to anyone looking for fast reliable service.

Mr Rooter showed up on time, identified the problems and immediately got to work, offering options for repair which were well explained. The work was done with professionalism, and every last detail was well addressed. I will continue to use Mr Rooter for all my plumbing needs. Completely satisfied with the service. Rating: 10!!

I have used Mr. Rooter previously and always had great service. Today Ryan arrived to fix a few problems! I needed a new toilet in the en suite bathroom, a minor tank repair in the main bathroom, there was a leaking faucet in the powder room, plus the water supply to the garage was leaking at the shut off valve in the basement, and water was also leaking from the outlet valve in the garage.Ryan was so very personable on arrival, I showed him what needed to be done, he wrote an estimate, I agreed, and he then very efficiently completed all the tasks. He had everything needed in his van and got the job done. Ryan explained everything that he was doing and why! He also left everything spotlessly clean and took away all the old, used and worn out bits! He also took me to all the repaired places and showed me that all were working well.Ryan is a delightful young man and an absolute joy to have working in my home. Had a very good experience today (Nov 18, 2019) with a Mr Rooter (staff, CHAD). He showed up, was very friendly, respectful and courteous throughout out the time. He was very knowledgeable in his area. Took the time to explain everything in detail before proceeding with the work. Upon completion , cleaned up area. Overall, very good customer service. Would definitely call Mr Rooter again !

Chad responded to our call, was very professional and was a joy to chat with. He's a gamer like myself so it made the experience really cool. He was able to replace the seal on my toilet and unclog my sink and tub in a very timely manner. His procedures were top notch for this time of crisis.

A couple months ago, we called Mr Rooter because of slow sewer drainage; they attempted to clean our sewer line. They were quick to respond and the person doing the work was polite but there are inconsistencies on the invoice. The invoice says he cleaned the work area. That didn't happen, fecal matter was left on our floor and walls, his fecal matter covered gloves were left on our washing machine; our house reeked for hours. We had to clean this all up and bleach everything. We have an older home and he never got past the inside trap which is under the basement floor at the foundation wall so in effect I paid full price for slightly improved drainage and a mess. Mr Rooter's recommendation was to have this trap removed so that the sewer line could be cleaned and inspected. I wasn't happy with the cleanup that was done on a simple job and I was concerned about how our house would have been left if they broke up the basement floor. I got 3 quotes; Mr Rooter's was the most expensive so I had another company remove the trap and clean the sewer line. I contacted Mr Rooter about the lack of cleanup and my overall experience; there has been no response thus far from both the local Hamilton office and their head office (I contacted both and have given a couple months for them to get back to me) so I felt I should report my experience so that others can make an informed decision before having work done by this company. Maybe our experience was a fluke but all I wanted was a call back to voice my concerns and see what they had to say; this is actually a 0" star review but you can't post unless you choose at least 1 star. When I called to make an appointment the gentleman that answered asked, “how can I make you smile today?” Which I thought was a great greeting, especially having come home from vacation to a leak! He cheered me up!The next morning the lady who called to notify us of our appointment time was also friendly, accommodating and understanding!The plumber, Chad, showed up on time and greeted us very professionally! He was very knowledgeable and super friendly! He took the time to explain every little detail and answered all of our questions patiently and in terms that we could understand. When he diagnosed the problem he gave us all of our options with various price points and never made us feel Obligated to choose any specific option or to even have the work done by him. We went ahead and had the work done by Chad and he did it quickly, carefully, and ensured we were happy with it before he left! He definitely fixed the problem and even went above and beyond with how he treated and in our home! He was very clean and respectful of our property. Never once did he wear his shoes in the house without covers and he even cleaned my bathtub after he was done working on it. We have nothing bad to say about him he is fantastic all around! I will definitely call him back specifically To have work done!I have to say, both Mr. Rooter and their sister company Birnie Plumbing and Drains have fantastic employees and work ethic!Thanks again Chad!
