April 11 2023.Got there at 6.30ish was third in line which starts at the door on picture (Hastings Street)Security let us in at 7am.By the 8am or so there were around 100 of people in the building, so I'd suggest getting there as early as possible.The whole process took 2.30 so I was done by around 9am.Stuff is friendly and quite fast.

Tried for a few days to book an appointment online but was not able to get one. Arrived here at 7:30 am without an appointment to get my passport renewed. They have certainly made improvements since the last time I was here two years ago. For one they have taken the space next door so there is seating and applicants did not have to stand in line. As soon as I arrived I was assigned a seat and there were already about 15 people in the Q. At about 7:45 am the staff started screening the applications to check if all the paperwork was in order. At 8:30 AM we were directed to the main counters to submit our papers. This took less than 5 minutes and I was done by 8:35 am. Unfortunately for those who are looking for a passport urgently they were out of luck as their computer internet connection was down and urgent passport applicants were asked to go to the passport office in Surrey. Good experience overall except for the lack of appointments online and the internet connection being down resulting in urgent applicants being sent away to apply at the Surrey office.

I arrived at 8:20am with a lost passport renewal, expecting to be here for hours -- I was out by 9:30. I was told my passport would arrive in approximately a month, just in time for my trip! The staff are extremely organised and the process was simple. Make sure you are prepared with the right documents and the process will go really quickly.

Extremely poorly organized. I went in to drop off and pay for my filled-out application for a passport renewal. Somehow I still had to wait in 3 queues to talk to 3 clerks. The last one was 2 hours of waiting for a 4 minute transaction to pay, which is exceptionally frustrating because the second clerk did nothing but give me a ticket to go wait in the third queue. Just take my money then and there and save us all some time.I will not be returning to this passport office for the next ten years.

The staffs are so nice and super friendly. I was there at 8:30am on June 15th when it just opened, there already have around 30 people waiting ahead of me. It was super organized and the staffs will guide you to the waiting area and explained everything will happen to you. I was really surprised how efficient it was. Only stayed there 30 mins and I will received my passport in 2 weeks!

This Office is a well-organized with a dedicated and helpful staff. Despite the negative reviews, my experience here has been nothing but positive. All my requests, from obtaining government papers to getting a new passport for my son, were handled quickly and efficiently without any delay.

Was in and out within 40-45 minutes today (Thursday) to submit passport application. Arrived at about 1:30 pm. Everything went smoothly and all the counter attendants were great. This place has definitely improved since a year ago.

Was very organized, I arrived at 6.30am and was 2nd in line.They let you in the building at 7am and put you in a waiting room. Officials come in at 7.45am to assess everyone (around 75 people) and give coloured tickets to everyone, blue priority and white for standard. People with appointments get a purple ticket I think and they are brought somewhere else.I was 1st in line with a blue ticket (my documents were fully completed and have a flight in less than two weeks) I got served at 8.30am and finished at 8.45amStaff was very friendly.

I went in today (a Wednesday) for a passport renewal and had a really smooth, easy experience. Arrived at 7 am and was 8th in line (the line was seated in an indoor waiting area). There were probably ~20 people behind me by 8 and then more people started coming in—it was busy, but not overwhelmingly so.At 8 am we saw the first desk who double checked we had all of our documents filled out, and then we were seated in another line until 8:30. I was out the door by 8:40! The staff were really kind and efficient.
