RBC Royal Bank

In comparison to other financial institutions I have visited, RBC services rank number 1. Denise was super friendly and thorough, and she promptly introduced me to a different specialist when I expressed interests. It was amazing, I felt like I was important.Their floor staff needed more training. I have experienced ineptness from both the person behind the teller and the reception desk. One time, the teller left my presence three times to search for answers. Repeatedly leaving my presence to seek advices only created doubt on whatever he or she was saying.Other times, the tellers are very patience and helpful. However, this branch is too busy. I prefer banking with their branch on Douglas and Fisgard.

Trying to find out why RBC sent a refusal letter to my new bank to send them my funds.Talked to a RBC rep on phone they had no idea why. Phone call was disconnected no return call.waiting for a booked phone appt to sort this out appt time 3:00 it's now 4:10.

There is NO way to contact them without an access card number. Not by phone. No. After 5 min having to listen to their own advertising, the system hangs up. There no contact email for non clients on their website. I am sure they know why. Because frankly, I despise this wool pulling business technique, where they make you think they care and hide behind a wall of non-english speaking telemarketers. I would never bank with them, for the fact that they will not be confronted when they screw up. NO COMPETITION FOR TD at all

This bank is a disgrace. The service has gone down the toilet. Even simple inquiries To get a phone number or speak to someone is more than the RBC can handle. My lawyer calls them the Jekyll and Hyde bank. Love your investments, treat you like a criminal on your loans.

What bank doesn't allow people to use their atms outside of business hours? What an awful awful branch.

I can say this branch has great managers. Totally understanding and solved my issue.

Incredibly bad experience at this bank. I am not usually a writer of internet reviews but this was ridiculous. I don't think that in this age of online banks, local credit unions, and the many options available to consumers, there is any good reason to bank at a place like this. I had to make a change of signing authority on a business account. To make an appointment I had to spend 30 minutes on hold listening to idiotic adds after navigating a frustrating phone menu. Once I arrived at my appointment I checked in with the dude at the front desk and waited. The employee I had an appointment with was 14 mins late and claimed that my appointment had been accidentally 'dropped'. The employee was incredibly unhelpful. They knew very little about the accounts and seemed tired and frustrated with the entire process. Keep your money in a shoe box instead of with these corporate jokers.

Abhishek did a great job and helped us open a new account. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He made the whole process seamless, highly recommend.

ZERO actually Rats nest of bots to reach an actual person and then nothing can be done unless you go into the branch personally. Took days to fix their security blocks on my account even after I went in. Different request today and same story. But most of the staff can be helpful when you get to them.
