Pop in here for useful information and to pick up a parking disk - essential if you want to park for free (you set the disk to the time you park and pop it on your dashboard, the warden can calculate when you should be back but don't forget to check you are in a disc zone" and what the time limit is).Lost one star as they didn't know that the public toilets they directed me to were out of commission for renovation."

Very helpful staff. We bought the East and West Side Whitby Tourist Trail leaflets and had a very enjoyable day exploring and discovering the delights of Whitby. The information provided in the leaflets provided us with a historical perspective to our walk. Brilliant day, thanks.

Great place lots of information & leaflets the staff, were really helpful. Lots of different items to buy. Pity visitors don't read the sign outside the door telling them where the toilets are - there were 6 people came in and asked. Worth a visit - thank you

The worst information centre I have ever been in. The staff were unhelpful and there were no free maps of the area to take away. What an appalling introduction to Whitby!!!!!

Good service centre with helpful staff. 24hour bus service for £6.50 for unlimited number of tours to all tourist attractions in Witby.

Whitby is a lovely place to visit the historic Abbey , the Steps , the Beach , the boats, fish and chips, the Jet jewelry and super sized sea gulls … people were friendly …..quite hilly need to think through trip and plan if you have mobility issues parking ease of access to sites …
