Steveston Fisherman's Wharf
Highly recommend to go there earlier. I arrived there around 2:00pm, most of the retail shops were prepared to closed and selling products were empty.I took sashimi in a Japanese restaurant over there. Finally I got Gastroenteritis. I spent thousands of money to attend the doctor in Vancouver. It was a horrible experience.

Early morning is perfect time for a stroll, remember to layer up. None of the shops were open and few people were out on this week day morning.Paid and free parking are available. Walkable to Gulf of Georgia Cannery, Britannia Heritage Shipyard and Garry Point Park with great views of the ocean. When you’re tired come back to Steveston Village for a bite to eat. Beautiful walk with great views.Weekends and summer time it’s packed be sure to come early. Cherry blossom viewing at Garry Point would be gorgeous with ocean views in the back drop and a Japanese Garden.

Great views and plenty of activity to observe. Real fishers and fresh catch every day. Spot prawn season (July) is a great time to visit. A pound of freshly caught prawns for $25.

Steveston Fisherman's Wharf
It’s the season for spot prawns so we went and bought 3.2 pounds of them for $80 dollars, that’s $25 per pound. They are all alive and we ate a few raw. You can taste the freshness and the prawn meat is bouncy. The wharf also sells other seafood and there are many interesting stores and restaurants around for you to check out. It’s one of my favorite neighborhoods in the Greater Vancouver area.

Steveston Fisherman's Wharf
I recently visited the Steveston Fisherman Wharf in Richmond, BC and had an amazing time! The highlight of my visit was seeing a swan strolling around the seaside near the pier. I took a ton of photos to capture the moment. As the sun began to set, the scene became even more spectacular. The colorful sky created a picturesque backdrop for the boats bobbing on the water. I enjoyed walking around and exploring the many shops and restaurants that lined the boardwalk. Overall, the Steveston Fisherman Wharf was a fun and memorable experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing day out by the water.

Should be added to your places to visit list. I confess, I really wanted to see a sea lion and didn’t get to. Regardless - great food options, fun atmosphere, and I liked walking along the docks and seeing the working boats.

A perfect place for tourists and local people too. If you come on weekends, please expect to spend more time finding a parking.It's good to have a walk with great view. There are so many different selection of restaurants. It makes you hard making up your mind where to eatThe sunset is beautiful all year round.It's a good place going on chilly Christmas days too.It's super quiet in February nights. Good for you come for a chilly walk with your loved one at night.

Busy during Summer/Fall and slow during Winter/SpringFree and paid parking lots and street parking available.Spot prawns season is a good time to go. Good price and fresh off the boat! Make sure to check what each boat is selling.Sea urchin is good too if you don't mind cracking it open yourself.

Steveston is a captivating place, welcoming and relaxing. It's a quiet historic village great for a refreshing walk, taking beautiful photos of the serene sea with the fishing boats parked. Seafood restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are all around the village perfect to meet up with friends for a stroll or have tasty food and shops to check on.On weekends, the floating seafood market is bustling with a live catch of seasonal shrimps, crabs, octopus, and fish at a reasonable price.

It's a quaint little old town charmed by the classic boats next to each other. It is recommended to visit early as most of the shops shut down at 8pm. We had a good time walking around the area. I have yet to try the ramen we spotted along the way. ;)
