Having spent hours and hours calling around, finding no availability and extensive wait lists while looking for a place for our family member was extremely discouraging. One email to Caroline, was quickly returned with an info gathering phone call and a quick turn around with a conformation of availability and booking of a tour the next day at the perfectly suited private facility that could provide the 'heavy duty' care and support we need! Happy to say we now have peace of mind knowing our loved one will be well cared for thanks to the incredibly compassionate Caroline and this invaluable referral service. Highly recommend

From my first contact with Caroline I found her to be very knowledgeable - able to answer all of my questions about different retirement homes and their various services. Caroline also seemed genuinely interested in my background, gathering information on what would interest me in a residence I'm sure, but nevertheless engaging in a very interested manner. Four residences were suggested, and after the arranged visits I found them all appealing to my various criteria but finally chose what I thought the best fit for me, essentially an independent apartment style with benefits. After choosing the residence Caroline was very helpful when asked in suggesting a reputable mover when those I otherwise contacted could not provide the service for the dates required. I wholehearted recommend Caroline and her company for anyone requiring her services.

Would highly recommend Solva Senior Living for assistance and support in navigating the world of senior living options. My mom required placement upon discharge from hospital, there was a time crunch, and Caroline began acting on our behalf as soon as contacted. She liaised with hospital social worker and organized multiple facility tours. She was always courteous and compassionate, was always prompt returning calls and/or finding answers to my questions. This service was such a welcome relief after trying to navigate the long term care application process the past few years as POA for my handicapped brother. It was timely and helpful and help was available along all the steps from recommended site visits to final choices. Also the screening process took into account my brother’s physical needs for an accessible environment, his finances, good staff record at the homes selected, good programming for residents and geographical proximity. Excellent service, helpful and informative. Caroline let us know what to expect in the difficult challenge of looking for care for my father. He is 89 and requires significant 24 hour care. We were dismayed at the challenge of which homes to call, and who had the capabilities and vacancies. Caroline was able to get quotes and available spots back in 24 hours, plus offer comments on the kind of care and location. The quotes she obtained were better than I had been able to find on my own. She also helped us understand the ancillary costs, like lifts and slings. Should the need arise again, we will call Caroline and Solva.
