I really like to discover small towns, pearls of the Canadian province, on the way to some city. One of these gems is Gananoque. The park in the city center is small but very cozy. There are many historical points telling about the inhabitants of this town in the past, a lot of historical data. Very cozy cafe where you can drink a cup of fresh coffee.

I always pass by this park whenever I am heading east, it is my rest stop. Very relaxing near the water and lots of nice shops are near by.

A park on the marina of Gananoque .A large park that includes grass with a place for small performances, a lime drop with sea sand (cold water) and a water play area at the top. There is a beautiful promenade and seating areas around the marina and park.

Small but well maintained. Sculptures enhance its beauty. If you are staying 8n nearby hotel then come here to relax and enjoy romance with your partner.

Beautiful park, lovely spot for a picnic or a barbecue. There’s benches to sit on as well. Great spot to take your kids too as well

The park itself is beautiful and well maintained, but the 5 star review for me is the wildlife I find everytime I come here. First it was a groundhog sunning itself on the banks of the river then running to their tunnel system in the hill. Next it was a heron fishing for its lunch by the dam. Came back about a week later around noon and the heron was back, and there were DOZENS of turtles lining the south side bank! You can also spot a bunch of fish if you look closely.

This is a lovely little spot for a picnic lunch and a refreshing break in nature. There is a pretty water fountain and created water fall feature where swans, geese and other water birds meander about to entertain viewers. The park is well groomed with floral gardens and sculptures. There is green space on both sides of the Gananoque River and a lovely bridge which provides plenty of photo opportunities. There are several benches and picnic tables throughout some offering much needed shade during the current heat wave.

Amazing little park in the heart of beautiful gananoque. With a dog park just on the other side of the bridge, it's a wonderful place to take a stroll any time of the year! The path is always well maintained, and candy cane lane is beautiful in the winter!
