Called the family clinic for my daughter and got appointment for the same day. They did x-rays and blood tests and received the results 3 hours later, we were very well treated and the service was impeccable.

My mother arrived by ambulance and was suffering from high blood pressure and severe left arm pain radiating to her back and they left her waiting in the emergency for more than 10 hours, in high risk of heart attack and lack of sleep and rest, they told her to wait after multiple attempts to speak to a doctor or nurse. The reevaluation staff told us they could not do anything and was very rude. This hospital needs to reevaluate how they treat people. Laval needs a new and better hospital, they cannot cope with all the patients they receive, she told us it was her break and was trying to kick us out of the office, i told her take your break and come back and she didn't want us to stay in the office. My mother needed a blood test to rule out any danger of heart attack but this was not taken seriously enough. This is unbelievable in 2023, the health care in this province is in very bad shape.

It's sad to say that I had to wait with my 84 year old father who is waiting for over 5 hours just to be examined by a nurse and that's not including doctor evaluation.And what's even sadder is I can see examination nurses are standing in groups talking among themselves and not attending patients.And what's even sadder is I can count roughly 15 patient waiting.Its pathetic to hear from the nurses that there is one doctor in the night shift to support the whole hospital.UPDATEI would like to provide an update since we left the hospital and we ended in the Jewish hospital, I'm not trying to label any of the hospitals but from the moment we got to triage at the Jewish hospital they assigned my dad to a room and start blood work and CT scan, saying that it shows that we have management issue at the first hospital and it's not hard to fix.

My situation is refugee. I had toothache then i went to this terrible hospital I waited for 6 hours in urgency but no one help me i went to information the woman who doesnt know about anything told me go and wait.

Had a potential blood clot in my arm with a heavy chest yesterday, thought this was it and the rapid response i got was incredible. They made a bad situation turn into a good one really quick. I appreciate all the nurses and doctor that came to my rescue. I appreciate you all in so many ways, thank you for your quick response and fast action. I am home and resting. Thank you!!!

Don't come to the emergency room if you're having an allergic reaction. Might as well be good as dead. It's not a priority

Hospital generally easy to navigate. Security at all doors can guide you where you need to go. Hospital staff are friendly and generally engaged in providing good healthcare.Generally Hospital is clean with regular cleaning and maintenance crew in place.Food is something to avoid here. From poor vending machines to a bad cafeteria and hospital stay meals for patients. My recommendation; bring your own food.

If I can give 0 stars I would. Off the bat one of the receptionist makes a snarky comment about my ethnic name and from there one it was just one rude staff after another. Diversity education is a must at this hospital. Never going back.

Worst hospital I’ve been to. Waited over 10 hours to get stitches. Was in pain the whole time and no one could help besides give me tylenol which did not relieve the pain. I am extremely frustrated at how this ER is run, there is no support whatsoever and the staff is rude! I am unfortunately very disappointed

I cannot thank you enough for all the care you provided me with. I felt that my family members took care of me. Unfortunately, I did not get the names of the stuff throughout my 4 days admission (23-26 February). Yet I remember Oliver as he introduced himself and was concerned to pass the message to me from my brother who was worried about me. Oliver, you are beyond professional, you are caring and friendly, reassuring and full of high spirits. And I believe this is contagious.
