This clinic is fantastic! I don’t know where to begin, from simple yearly shots to emergency visits. They’ve always met our needs and done it with love. Our young cat had gotten her spay surgery done there and she was still a little crazy to say the least, the stitches opened up and I called them in tears. Not only did they tell me to bring her by, in order to be able to pay for her or any potential anti biotics - I had to work. They watched Gracie all day ( I’m not saying they’re a pet hotel ) but knowing that I was too scared to leave my baby home alone, they watched her all day and made her feel comfortable. She even made a friend with their clinic cat! Too cute.Needless to say, I 10/10 recommend this veterinary clinic.. the Vet’s here are knowledable and compassionate. They’re also straight up and don’t add on any extra fee’s or random tests (not that tests aren’t needed at certain times)Great place. My boyfriend and I will bring our animals here until they’re no longer an option! Thanks guys!

We recently had to put our two cats down at this location. (They were sisters, both very old and sick.) We brought them in to have them examined & the vet confirmed they were in pain and there wasn’t much worth doing at this stage in their lives to remedy it. The following day, we brought them in to be euthanized. We were both visibly shaken and upset, as anyone would be. The vet entered and saw that we had two cats and said ‘you’re putting them both down today? That’s sick! You must be so upset.’ I’m not sure if it’s a regional thing, as the vet did not sound like he was from around here, but I’d suggest avoiding using the terms ‘that’s sick’ when talking to clients who are in a very delicate situation emotionally. I don’t think he was being malicious or judgmental but in that moment, I questioned our decision to be there, I felt guilty, and it upset me even more than I already was. Please choose your words more wisely in the future - losing my two babies after 18 years was the most difficult thing I’ve had to do. I didn’t need to have fuel added to that fire.Other than that, the staff were kind and helpful and we received a thoughtful sympathy card in the mail not long after.

I had my puppy booked in for an appt and I called to confirm and ask if possible to be able to come into the appt with her as many new puppy owners know they are quite attached to you and with this being my first puppy and being a new patient I wanted to see how the staff and vet were with my puppy. I was advised by the receptionist that they do not allow that even if I was fully vaccinated and can show my passport. I mentioned that I know of some vets that are allowing it and just wondered why it wasn’t possible and her response was well you can go there or elsewhere and then asked if I was cancelling the appt. I couldn’t believe the rudeness and absolute unprofessionalism. Well you just lost a new patient. There is no way I would feel comfortable having my puppy in your presence if that is how you treat your clients on the phone. Disgusting.

Some of the nicest people working there who genuinely love what they do/animals(family members). I absolutely love how they have that adorable kitty there. (Bear) who I first noticed through the window. They allowed me to give bear a couple treats and I think I made a friend for life!

Throughout the years, I have always brought my dogs to the Whitby Animal Hospital. There has been some tough times and decisions to make, but all of the veterinarian, techs, and staff always think about what is best for the animal and offered amazing support - they really do care about you and your animals. My newest puppy has been plagued with allergies, and injuries in her short 1.5 years, but this clinic has always been flexible to accommodate my schedule for appointments, have called me to see how the puppy is doing after visits and offered very fair and consistent pricing and services. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this clinic - my dogs are happy, healthy, and love to go see their friends at Whitby Animal Hospital!

First vet clinic to care about my baby. I have a sphynx cat who has chronic diarrhea. After a vet tech hurt him at another clinic and he became vet scared of people, I explained this to the dr and the staff were amazing! First visit, I could watch him through the window (covid) and the assistant was so good to him and never left his side. He was loving all of the attention he was getting and the compliments on his sweater! Thank you for helping me trust again after a horrible experience at another clinic.

Took forever to get an appointment. Terrible customer service. Staff made me wait outside in the freezing weather until my dog got her vaccines. I am pregnant, and they didn’t care that I was waiting outside in cold. Instead of apologizing, they continued to be rude and argue with me. Saying that all places do this. I went previously with my other dog to other clinics and none of them asked this of me. Very disappointing. I only stated that it wasn’t very nice of them what they were doing, and then the Doctor started getting loud with me and arguing. He also then told me they don’t have time to hear my concerns and I should go somewhere else. Both the doctor and receptionist were very unprofessional in the way they handled this situation.
